Various Artists "In Memory of... Celtic Frost (USA, Dwell Records, DWELL CD-1006)"

In Memory of Celtic Frost (Also stylized as In Memory... of Celtic Frost) is a tribute album to the seminal extreme metal band Celtic Frost. Released in 1996, it would be the first of several tribute albums curated by the North American label Dwell Records, produced by Rayshele Teige, Raul Caballero and Jerry Flores. Notably featuring numerous death metal and black metal bands from North America and Scandinavia, In Memory of Celtic Frost would also feature a handful of bands in other genres (Closedown being a shoegaze band while Morgion and Divine Eve would be death/doom acts.).

The tribute album would also feature the first published recording of Apollyon Sun (Then known as Apollyon's Sun), an industrial metal band formed by Thomas Gabriel Fischer in 1995 following Celtic Frost's initial disbandment in 1992.

Though 14 tracks are listed on the back cover and booklet, the CD only has 12 selectable tracks, with tracks 12 - 14 all put together as one unbroken track. Tracks 13 and 14 (Both of which would be Hellhammer covers) play out following a minute of silence. A cassette version was also released, formatted in similar fashion.
