Metal Militia: A Tribute to Metallica is a tribute album by then rising and promising Swedish metal bands, including In Flames and Dark Tranquility, released in 1994. It features twelve Metallica covers arranged and played mostly in the death metal and black metal genres. The album quickly fell into obscurity and today can only be found with effort.

Various Artists "Nuclear Blast All-Stars: Out Of The Dark (Germany, Nuclear Blast, NB 1800-2)"

Out of the Dark is a two disc compilation album from Nuclear Blast Records to commemorate their 20 years as a record label. Produced by Peter Wichers, who is also the only songwriter on the album, it features a variable collection of "All Stars" much in the same vein as Roadrunner United. The album includes 11 different singers, with Wichers playing bass and guitar, and drums by Dirk Verbeuren and Henry Ranta. It also includes a second disc which includes 10 songs from thrash metal, death metal and black metal bands signed to Nuclear Blast. While its "twin" album Into the Light focuses more on the power metal side of the label, Out of the Dark is rather devoted to the genre of melodic death metal.

In Flames "Clayman (Remastered, 20th Anniversary Edition)"

Clayman is the fifth studio album by Swedish metal band In Flames, released via Nuclear Blast on 3 July 2000. It has a dark theme, with most of the lyrics dealing with depression and internal struggles. Clayman is the final In Flames album to feature their original melodic death metal sound. The band would later start to experiment with other styles on their next release, Reroute to Remain, gradually progressing these more experimental elements across their future releases later into the 2000s.

The album's cover art is based on Leonardo da Vinci's Vitruvian Man drawing. The Jester Head appears in the background, both on the cover, and in the album booklet itself. Music videos were produced for the songs "Pinball Map" (directed by Tamara Jordan) and "Only for the Weak".
