Zebra "Zebra (Limited Edition, 2013 Reissue, Remastered, Stereo, SHM-CD, Mini-LP, Japan, Arcangelo Records, ARC-8071)"

Zebra is the debut studio album by American hard rock band Zebra, released on March 25, 1983, by Atlantic Records. The album features all original material, with the exception of "Slow Down" (a Larry Williams tune best remembered for a 1964 cover version by the Beatles) injected at mid-song with much of the second stanza of Carl Perkins' "Blue Suede Shoes", altered at its end:
"Knock me down, step on my face,
slander my name all over the place;
do anything that you want to do,
what are you tryin' to do?"
The album also features two hits which received national airplay: "Who's Behind the Door?" and "Tell Me What You Want". On the strength of both singles the album became one of Atlantic's fastest-selling debut albums ever and peaked at #29, attaining a level of commercial success the band was unable to repeat on subsequent releases.

"Take Your Fingers from My Hair" was covered by Dream Theater for the special edition of their tenth studio album, Black Clouds & Silver Linings.

This album, along with the follow-up No Tellin' Lies, was remastered and reissued by UK-based company Rock Candy Records in 2013.

Zebra "No Tellin' Lies (Limited Edition, 2013 Reissue, Remastered, Stereo, SHM-CD, Mini-LP, Japan, Arcangelo Records, ARC-8072)"

Zebra is an American hard rock band founded in 1975 in New Orleans, Louisiana. It features guitarist and lead vocalist Randy Jackson, bassist Felix Hanemann and drummer Guy Gelso.

No Tellin' Lies is the second album by New Orleans–based hard rock trio Zebra, released in 1984 by Atlantic Records. The album was a commercial disappointment, peaking at No. 84. However, "Bears" did get some radio airplay on hard rock stations.

The original compact disc version was made in West Germany for the US market in 1984 and is very rare. It was reissued in 2007 as a 2-on-1 CD along with the third Zebra album 3.V, which had been deleted as well. Long out-of-print in single disc form for decades, No Tellin' Lies became available again as a stand-alone CD in 2013, with separate reissues from the UK-based Rock Candy Records and as part of a reissue of the first three Zebra albums in Japan.

Track listing
  1. "Wait Until the Summer's Gone" Randy Jackson 3:36
  2. "I Don't Like It" Jackson 4:00
  3. "Bears" Jackson 4:33
  4. "I Don't Care" Jackson 3:05
  5. "Lullaby" Jackson 4:46
  6. "No Tellin' Lies" Jackson 3:30
  7. "Takin' a Stance" Jackson 3:42
  8. "But No More" Jackson, Angie Aliciatore, Guy Gelso 4:56
  9. "Little Things" Felix Hannemann 3:26

Zebra "3.V (Limited Edition, 2013 Reissue, Remastered, Stereo, SHM-CD, Mini-LP, Japan, Arcangelo Records, ARC-8073)"

3.V is the third studio album by American hard rock band Zebra, released in 1986 by Atlantic Records. The album failed to chart – it would be the group's last studio album for Atlantic before being dropped from the label. The album went out-of-print in 1990. It was reissued in 2007 as an import paired on one CD with No Tellin' Lies, another deleted title, as the stand-alone compact disc version became a scarce collector's item in the meantime. 3.V, along with the first two Zebra albums, was reissued on CD again in Japan in 2013. In 2016 Rock Candy Records reissued the album on CD.

Some critics have heralded this to be the best Zebra album, even better than their debut. Doug Stone from AllMusic gave the album 4.5 stars, saying "3.V has that certain something extra: more than an album, 3.V opens the mind of an unheralded genius." Classic Rock Review wrote that the album was "plagued by clusters of both mediocrity as well as pure brilliance" but "includes some of the band's finest work".
