Ryiah Is Crawling!
Ryiah is 8 1/2 months old and just started crawling today! It's the cutest thing I've ever seen! We went to a birthday party today and there was a 9 month old little boy there that was crawling around. I tried to get Ryiah to watch him and learn, but she really didn't seem to care too much. Well. . . .she must have been watching through the corner of her eye and paying close attention. We came home and after her nap she decided it was time! I'm so excited about everything that she does. She makes me smile and laugh every day! She is the light of my life and I love her to no end!
I have a video of her crawling, but it won't let me upload it on here for some reason. As soon as I can figure it out I will post it!

Ryiah's First Tooth
Ryiah just turned 8 months old last week. She is cuter and more fun than ever! Her first tooth is just now flush with her gums! It's her bottom tooth in the front on the right! It's scary to think of her getting teeth, but it's another milestone I look forward to!

Ryiah's First Time With Santa!
My grandpa Marley has dressed up as Santa for as long as I can remember. He loves it and all the kids love it! Well, most of the kids! The little ones aren't too sure. This was Ryiah's first time with Santa and.....
Well . . . .
she definitely was not having it!
If only she knew it was great grandpa!
She had had enough!
Then she got a candy cane. . .
Mmm, even with the wrapping still on, she was a happy girl!
Santa isn't such a bad guy after all!
A jolly man with free candy? Sweet!
Ryiah's night ended happily ever after!

Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving was great! My dad's side of the family came down and we did the usual Thanksgiving feast. It was nice to see my cousin, Eliza and her husband, Rafe and my aunt Terree. I don't get to see them very often.

A Trip To Gma And Gpa Doanes
Ryiah and I took a trip to Grandma and Grandpa Doane's house this last week. It was a short trip, but it was worth it. Grandma hadn't seen Ryiah since she was 3 weeks old! So she had some catching up to do. Of course Ryiah was such a good girl and it didn't take much to melt their hearts! One smile and she had them wrapped pretty tightly around their fingers! Ryiah loved being there. She loved cuddling with grandma. Grandma was able to rock Ryiah to sleep in her lap 3 or 4 different times! Ryiah and I both ended up getting spoiled by her. She took us shopping all day and did what grandmas do! We are so thankful that we were able to make the trip and have a nice, relaxing visit! I wish we all lived closer together so our visits didn't have to be so few and far between.
Fun and Games

Twenty Eight
What to say, what to say. 28 snuck up on me rather quickly. I think back to when I thought 28 was so far away for me and how it was the age when people were really adults and had everything together. 28 looked grown up and mature and everything that comes with those titles. Now I'm here and the all mighty age of 28 feels nothing like the picture I had painted in my head. I now know that 28, along with the rest of the years, is just a number. Every 28 year old that I know is in a different stage of life. It is not the number of years that gets you to where you are going. So I feel better about things now, having figured that out. I thought I should be this or that by now, but I now know that it's okay if I'm not.
So Here's To My 28th Year Of Life! I Am Hoping That It Is The Best Year Ever! I Have No Idea What Is In Store For Me, But I Am Positive That It Will Be Great!

Neti Pot
Have you ever heard of a Neti Pot? It's purpose it to clear out your sinuses due to sickness or allergies. Well, I've heard of it and been told to use it before, but never had. I told my mom that I didn't think I was all good because I've felt stuffy for a few months. Not sick, just kind of stuffy. So she said I should give it a try. I did. It was....an experience! I ended up being surprised at the feeling and I SPRAYED junk all over the sink and mirrror! I know, gross. Anyway, now the pictures will allow you to enjoy the experience as much as I did! ;)

Deuce's 1st Birthday
Baby Jeremiah turned 1 on November 4th! Crazy! He's such a cutie! He's walking all over the place!
Love from daddy
Kaleb and Nick
Austin
Deuce did so well with his cake! He loved it! He was tearin' into it and then Jer decided it wasn't enough and shoved his face in it. I didn't get a picture of the after, but it was bad. It was up his nose and in his hair and eyes. Poor little guy! He took it like a champ though!

Halloween
Ryiah was a little bumblebee for her first Halloween! To be honest, I wasn't that thrilled at first because I was hoping for something cute and girly like a ladybug or butterfly. HOWEVER, she was stinkin' ADORABLE! The fact that she is beyond anything cute and perfect in life will make it possible for her to be able to pull anything off, starting with a bumblebee! She really was a little doll! In this first picture it looks like she has two big ol' teeth right in front! It's actually a reflection from her tongue. It made me look into the future, though, and I really hope she doesn't end up with chicklettes (spelling). Ya know!
Me and Ry at a friend's church Halloween bash
Cute Hallo pj's from Gma Doane and Aunt Erin
You can kind of see the pumpkin on her bum. That made the pj's!
The cousins (excluding Mak and Chy)
Over all her first Halloween was nice. We went to one little church bash and then hung out at home with my dad and passed out candy. No point in taking a 7 month old trick or treating!
