Memorial Day 2011
Just a little get together with family and lots of food for Memorial Day.
I love when everyone is here. Things get completely rowdy and chaotic and so dang loud! I love it though. I wish my family got together on a more regular basis. The little babies are growing up way too quickly. I know that in the near future some will be moving away and we won't be able to see everyone very often. This breaks my heart! There comes a point in time when you realize family is better and more important than anything else. It's too bad that it took so long to understand that, but now that I do I embrace all the family time I can!

Stuck
Ryiah goes down between the bed frame and the mattress all the time and gets stuck. She CANNOT get out but thinks it's hilarious ... until I don't rush right over to save her ... then she freaks out! As soon as I get her out and walk away she slides right back down.

Mommy's Little Helper
Ryiah LOVES to help with pretty much anything I'm doing. She won't even know what it is I'm doing and she"ll say, "Can I help you, mommy? I can do that! Let me help. I'm a good helper!"
We were making some banana bread here. :)
I love that her cute messes don't bother me at all! I would rather her have fun and enjoy being with me while we work together than worry about how I'm going to clean things up!
How can you not love this!?

Tired Much?
I asked Ryiah 4 times to get off of that table. When I walked over to physically remove her, this is what I found. Haha! I just laughed. Of course, I moved her to the couch so she would be more comfy! This little girl is by far - my absolute everything.

Just A Cute Picture
My little brother and my nephew are living with us now. Deuce (his name is Jeremiah Johnson Taylor II so we call him Deuce) and Ryiah are awesome buddies! They fight a lot, too, but over all they are inseperable throughout the day!

Yogurtland
Mmm ~ We love our Yogurtland trips! I'm not sure why she looks like she ISN'T enjoying it here, but trust me... she never hesitates when I say "LET'S GO!"

Bonnie Springs
A few weeks ago I took Ryiah to Bonnie Springs to see the animals and whatever else was so cool up there that everyone always boasted about! We were not properly dressed (it is basically a big, dirty, sandlot) because that was not the original plan for that day. Other things fell through so we quickly came up with Bonnie Springs! So I walked around in wedges and Ry had on sandles, but it was fun all the same! Shannon and her girls met us there. I will be honest, I was pretty disappointed. Half of the things that are suppose to be open were closed. Then when we got to the animals, it was pretty depressing for me. I had the same feeling this trip that I had when I visited BS when I was little. I was sad to see that animals caged and confined the way they were. It was a prety warm day and they all sat in cages with metal roofs and little to no shade for them to escape the heat. Ryiah enjoyed seeing them, but I probably won't be taking her back. If she wants to see animals, I guess our next thing to do will have to be an African Safari! ;)
Snack time!
3 of my favorite girls
My SIL and sweet nieces
Ryiah LOVED this train. It wasn't working this day, but they climbed all over it. She loves looking at this picture and telling me over and over what they did at Bonnie Springs!

Easter Time
I completely failed with Eater pictures of Ryiah this year. I did not have my own camera, so I only have what others gave me! :(
Easter morning on our way to church, I told Ryiah the true meaning of Christmas - Jesus died for us on the cross and how he was then resurrected 3 days later.... Well, a few minutes went by and Ryiah said, "Mommy? Jesus died. Did you know that?" I said, "Yes, I did. How did he die?" Ryiah paused for a couple seconds then said, "He died on the sidewalk." HAHA! Yes, I laughed under my breath. It was awesome.
We had an Easter Egg Hunt at my parents' house with all the cousins, (except Jeremiah, Collin and Austin who we missed)! Of course, they all had a good time and then ate too much candy!
Grrr! Better pictures next year!

Ready and Waiting...
Ryiah likes to get her hats, gloves and scarves on all the time. She is always wanting to play in the snow, even though I tell her it's not coming back for a loooong time. :) I guess she stays hopeful. Well, this was the day before Easter. After she got prepared for the snow and I had to let her down by saying it wasn't cold enough, she put on her bunny ears and patiently waited for the Easter bunny!
