Reno

I went to Reno for a week to be a part of my good friend's wedding. It was a lot of fun and things went off without a hitch! She looked gorgeous and was beaming the entire time!

~ JES~ The beautiful bride

I wish Jes and Tim all the happiness in the world for the next 80 years! ;)

Julie was kind enough to watch Ryiah for two nights and an entire day! THANK YOU THANK YOU! I personally think she could handle twins next!

Pumpkin Patch!

This is my favorite picture there. The sky looks awesome and I love the tractor in back! Good photo skills, Julie!

" I NEED IT! "

Ryiah and I were at the store and I pointed out all the pumkins. She looked around but didn't say much about them. We were walking up to check out and she starts saying, "I NEED IT! I NEEEEEED IT!" I asked her what the heck she was talking about and she looked me in the eyes and said, "Puckin. I need a puckin!" When I told her no but maybe later, she continued to let the line of people and the cashier know that she really needed a puckin! Hehe!

***LEXINGTON***

Ryiah and I went to Lexington, KY to see Sean. He is working out there for the World Equestrian Games and has been so busy he wasn't going to be able to make it back to see Ryiah until the end of the year. So we decided to go there! It was a good trip and it was great to get away for a bit. Kentucky is very pretty and the people are so kind. We stayed in a furnished apartment so we were completely comfortable the entire time we were there. Sean worked long hours and only got to see Ryiah a couple hours each night, but it was better than nothing. Ryiah adores her daddy and lights up when he walks in the room! The last 4 days of our trip Sean's mom came out and stayed at the apartment with us. We went to the World Equestrian Games together and had so much fun! Ryiah doesn't get to see her grandma and grandpa Doane very often, so that was a fun treat for her. Grandma spoiled her with love and gifts like usual! She spoiled me too...there's really no saying no to her! It's like she doesn't understand "ENOUGH! NO MORE! I DON'T NEED THAT!" ;) We appreciate her and love her and miss her already!

These pictures are all out of order, but who cares! I wasn't able to get great pictures at the games. The horses there were magnificent! Truly, I've never seen animals as gorgeous and as majestic as these horses. They came from all over the world. I wish I could have gotten better pictures.

Our apartment

Ryiah was very sick the first part of our trip. I was a little worried.

On daddy's ride.

This was an older pony. The Kentucky Horse Park has TONS of old show horses that are retired. You drive though and go see all of them.

Ryiah's first pony ride. She was pretty hesitant about it at first

"OH! I LIKE THIS!"

THis is a park in downtown Lexington. This is what I park should look like! TREES!

A hearty breakfast she was too tired to eat.

Sean's coworker let us borrow that slide and a couple movies (Tinkerbell, which is her new fave) while we were there.

This is the bus they pulled in for Sean to stay in while the gamed were going on. He didn't have much time to sleep, so leaving the park wasn't really an option sometimes! It was really nice inside!

At the Louiville Zoo

All tuckered out after the opening ceremony of the WEG

This was Molly, the 3 legged pony. She was attacked by a pitbull and lost her leg. She was sooo sweet!

AGA! (Gma Doane)

Ummm, Hello!

These pics don't show how amazing these horses are!

This sunset looks like a backdrop! This was the opening ceremonies for the games. It couldn't have been a more perfect night with a gorgeous sunset!

Ryiah loved this pony! SHe got to ride him twice, thanks to Aga. His name was Copper and Ryiah will tell you all about him!

First couple days...not feeling well. :(

Gorgeous

This was the outcome of letting Ryiah playing in a dirt lot. She had the time of her life for 30 minutes and I just stood back and kept telling myself, "It will be okay. Just smile through it. Bathtime is coming."

After the dirt lot

One of Ryiah's favorite things to do was feed the ducks at Lexington Greens!

Ryiah fell in love with horses and ponies. Every day she woke up saying, "Horse park! Go! Feed ducks?" So we saw horses and fed ducks almost ever day. We went for long walks every day because the weather was awesome and it was so green and pretty. Ryiah looked forward to that each night. While at the games, she got to watch a video of a horse laboring and giving birth. I explained what she was seeing. She sat and watched it 3 times! The next day she told me all about the baby horse being born and how it got stuck "in there" and needed help to get out. Haha!
It was great to get away but it's good to be home too!
