Die Cuttin's Divas Easter Challenge

Easter is this coming Sunday!

Is anyone participating in an Easter Egg Hunt?

I miss those days, when my children were little and we'd hide the eggs in the yard and watch them go on the hunt. So much fun :)

We are getting in the Easter spirit this week, our challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas is Easter.

.

I decided to move away from bunnies and chicks and go for a little bit more sophisticated card.

I found this Lily card at the Silhouette store

For the sentiment I used a stamp from one of my Paper Smooches stamp sets.

Supplies used: card stock - white, green, black, vanilla, yellow;  patterned paper from my stash; Silhouette Cut File; stamps by Paper Smooches, white embossing powder, pearls.

Now pop on over to Die Cuttin' Divas and see all the fabulous inspiration the rest of the design team has come up with.

Hope to see you playing along with us!!!!

Cut It Up "Case It" Challenge

This time of year is so crazy "weather" wise, 75ยบ one day and snow showers the next. I'll be glad when it is just nice weather continuously. Unfortunately it won't be this weekend, more snow on the way.

I hope you have a nicer weekend in your neck of the woods.

TGIF and time for a new challenge over at Cut It Up!

This week our challenge over at Cut It Up is "Case It".  Case a project from anyone/anywhere. Don't forget the die cut!

Our sponsor for this weeks challenge is Heartfelt Creations and you have a chance to win a $20 certificate to their store.

For those of us on the Cut It Up design team, we "cased" a project of one of the other design team members.

I "cased" a card by Larelyn that she made in March of 2016.

Here is her card:

And here is my "cased" version.

I used several different dies to create my card.

I cut my "peeps" from felt with dies by Simon Says Stamp. The hills were cut with stitched hillside dies from Lawn Fawn and the clouds were cut with Memory Box Scribble Cloud Dies.

Supplies Used: card stock - white, 2 shades of green; pattern paper by Molly & Rex; dies by Simon Says Stamp, Lawn Fawn and Memory Box; sentiment stamp from My Kind Of Peeps by Simon Says Stamp; twine by American Crafts; felt - Michaels.

I can't wait to see your creation so pop on over to the Cut It Up blog and join us in the fun!

Die Cuttin' Divas Sketch Challenge

We have had some lovely weather here the last three days!

Fun to get out walking the dogs in the sunshine :)

It's Tuesday and time for a new challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas .

The challenge this week is a sketch challenge.

.

I found a cute chick wearing bunny ears at the Silhouette store and I though it would be the perfect focal point for my card.

You can purchase the cute little chick here

I also used a small scalloped circle die by MFT, and some papers by Doodlebug.

Supplies used: Card stock - white, black, 2 shades of yellow, 2 shades of pink, orange, teal; patterned papers in Easter Express by Doodlebug, sentiment stamp by Simon Says Stamp; cut file by Silhouette Studio; small scalloped circle die by MFT; enamel dots.

Now pop on over to Die Cuttin' Divas and see all the fabulous inspiration the rest of the design team has come up with.

Hope to see you playing along with us!!!!
