Teacher Gift - Insulated Water Tumbler

I wanted to share with you a teacher gift I created for my grandson's teacher.

I purchased a case of colored tumblers from Amazon. Here is the link. The colors are fabulous, I was happy with the quality and for just a little over $3 a piece, they make an inexpensive little gift.

I put some tissue paper in so the photo would turn out better. My daughter is going to fill it with some little gifts.

I used three different fonts to create the wording in my Silhouette program.
I used Ariel Black,  LD Letter Jacket and SW Par-tay Thyme.

The school colors are blue and white and the mascot is a mountain lion so they put a paw print on everything.

I used Design ID #75727 for the paw print  and Design ID #32640 for the superman shield, both from the Silhouette store.

Supplies used: Insulated Tumbler Cups - Amazon; Vinyl - www.expressionsvinyl.com; Silhouette Studio cut files

Die Cuttin' Divas Halloween Project Challenge

I had a wonderful time Saturday evening at my annual Halloween party!!!

I used the letter "P", from our last name, as my theme for this year. I was dressed as A Pink Lady from Grease and my husband was a Proctologist (Hehehe).
We served a Deadly Pumpkin Martini and a Poison Carmel Apple Martini as our drinks. We played a couple games, enjoyed munching on some great food and all around had a great time with our friends and family!!!

This week over at Die Cuttin' Divas we are looking forward to Halloween on Friday and asking you to create a Halloween Project.

Our sponsor for this weeks challenge is Cricut Vinyl Supplies and you have a chance to win a $10-20 store credit!!!

For my project I decided to use some vinyl, a shadowbox frame and scrapbook paper to create a wall decor item for my home. I found this phrase at the Silhouette Store and knew it was for me as Halloween is my favorite holiday.

Supplies used:  shadowbox frame - Michaels; vinyl in black and orange glitter; scrapbook paper - My Minds Eye; Pop Dots; Silhouette Studio cut file

Blessings

Today I'd like to share a quote I cutout with my Cricut, in vinyl, and placed above my stove in the kitchen. I used three colors - brown, yellow and burnt umber. I've decided to replce the quote once a month.

Blessings was cut out in yellow. All the letters except for the e and i were cut with Plantin Schoolbook using Tall Ball and set at 4 1/2", the e and i were cut with Printing 101 set at 5".

Thanksgiving was cut with burnt umber. Again everything but the i's were cut with Plantin Schoolbook using Tall Ball and set at 3 1/4", the i's were cut with Printing 101 set at 3 3/4".

The other two lines were cut with brown. The top line was cut, except for e's and i's, with Plantin Schoolbook using Tall Ball set at 1 1/2". The e's and i's were cut with Printing 101 set at 1 3/4". The lower line, except for the e's and i's was cut with Plantin Schoolbook using Tall Ball set at 1". The e's and i's were cut with Printing 101 set at 1 1/4".

Supplies used: vinyl in yellow, brown and burnt umber, transfer sheet.
