Teddy Elf Tag

Wow,Friday already! Where did this week disappear to?
It's half term school holidays here in the UK and I have to say they have flown by.
My Son and I have just been out playing golf, it's cold but a beautiful bright and sunny Autumn day.
Spent all yesterday packing so it was lovely to get out today.

Miss Ruthie over at My Creative Time  is the host of The Designer Challenge and asked us to make a tag 4 x 6 or bigger and to incorporate Emma's stamps and dies.

I cut the tag at 6" on Winter Woodland which made it 4.25" wide.
I embossed the top layer and added Ranger distress crackle glaze paint  to the tree and topped off with twinklets. The little Elf Ted is cut at 3" from Teddy Bear Parade.

There's lots of dimension!Look at the cute sock monkey toy he is geting ready to send!!

Bird Cage - take 2

I love making tags, and altered ones influenced by Tim Holtz are some of my favourites. Yesterday I shared with you a simple card using the bird cage die. Today, this tag is decorated very differently....

The bird and cage die is different as it is his new mover and shakers die.

Tag Recipe
Tag diecut, distress stained and then ink distressed.
Stamped in various colours with Stampers Anonymous stamps.
Tailor's dummy diecut, covered in twill and distress inked.
Ribbon tied with heart attached to it.
Bird cage diecut from grungeboard, painted, inked and edged with gold krylon pen.
Dummy stamped with Stampers Anonymous stamp  and red pin added.

The heart was from a sale necklace(full of them)! I do like a bargain embellishment! Lol!

Thanks for looking,if you have any questions about the tag feel free to ask.x

Something for the weekend

Busy weekend ahead, lots of sport for my boys........hockey, cricket, hockey, hockey. My son is sport mad and so is his Dad!! They are my boys, so between baking for the hockey tournament and being a taxi, not much time for craft this weekend. lol

I have a tag to share with you.

Tim Holtz tag, distressed and stamped.
Sewing room die, inked, body covered in twill, all distressed.
Button made out of grunge board, embossed, acrylic painted and distressed.

Thanks for looking and have a great weekend. Plan to post some cards next week. Love Jayne x
