Hi,hope you're all enjoying this lovely weather. Can't believe it's the weekend already.
Today I have the first 2 in a set of 3 canvases. I love minature things and makes that can be completed within a crafting session. Thank goodness for heat guns!
Canvas no 1
Sorry about the glare from the metal, must try harder with the photos!
It mesure 7 x 5 cms.
Silver metal was stamped with a basic grey flower stamp and then hand embossed/debossed.
Metal was attached to canvas. Terra was applied above and around it for texture. Green and blue acrylic paint was added and then a hero arts phrase was stamped. Finished off with a gem.
Double click the pictures to see more detail.
Canvas no 2
This canvas is 6 x 4 cms.
It was painted and stamped.
Metal flower was die cut from tattered floral die and then embossed using a ten second studio mould. The leaf was from a mould with the walnut hollow metal set.
Alcohol inks were used to colour them.
Thanks for looking. Enjoy the weekend, will be back with canvas no 3 tomorrow. x

PaperArtsy Project
As promised, here is the project I made in the afternoon with Leandra and Lin. I do metal work on some of my projects but not normally in this way, really enjoyed trying something different.
The trees and roof are embossed metal, coloured with inks. The hinges for the doors are die cut grunge board, coloured to appear like metal.
I like the way it opens and closes. Looks great on my fireplace.
Tomorrow, I have my own special project to share......
until then x
