huh....I forgot about the rum....

I have been vacuming and clearing the floors to have a company come in and do my carpets tomorrow.......any thing to stay away from smoking.....

of my Red-headed Step Son......

I know his hair is no longer red, and that he has grown up alot !! he has 2 children!!Gad ! He and Katie are just babes themselves.
I am looking forward to thier visit, we get a long weekend away, and I love showing my state off to people who haven't seen it.

Ape Caves on Tuesday
Quinault, and the Hoh on Wednesday
home on Wednesday evening.
Sol Duc Falls Thursday (Where we were married)

whale watching Saturday out of Porttownsend with Carrie and her crew

Memory Day....

My Great Grandma Olmstead was the one that called it Memory Day, my grandfather had been in WW2 , I wish I had asked more questions and listened better he was a really cool man. He kept a journal every day of his life I have always wished I could have read them......
Blessed are those souls that left home as babes, never to return......

I have stood....

Where Presidents have stood, I have marveled at trees that anyone with the time and money to get there, can see. I have shown these trees to another generation, two actually, My Mother and my Grandchildren. How very blessed I am !!

ahh the days of breakfast in bed are gone for me but nice treats await thru out the day, Nate gave me a card with a teabag attatched to have a cup of tea on him...nice thought. My Mom is at a wedding in upstate NY with the rest of my immediate family I am the only sibling not there. Hope it is a glorious day for them all.

to a Niece and her New Husband !!!! Autumn is getting married Sunday at 3pm in Warrensburg, NY..
My Mom and Jeff and his family are all back there with Jamey and his whole family & Dad I am the missing LINK !!!
So if any of you folks from Owego see my little Mom give her a hug and tell her to take care of herself.
the family I grew up with is assembling for a joyous occasion..I am with them in spirit..
