More Items For The Store

So many types of Materials, ooh la lah!

A little farm girl and all of her little friends

A green swan, a lazerd flower that you can not see well but it's a very unusual flower, and a tiny water pitcher.

And a glitzy glam bottle girl

I really like these tiny glass's, about twice the size of a shot glass and they are inscribed with the words "Faith"

The top picture is a tin from "Brazil" and the color is so brilliant and the pattern is beautiful. The little box is lacquer and has a scene from "Russia" or other possibilities.

And "Holly Hobbie" plates in perfect condition, two are the same. Enlarge to see how cute these are. She was brought to life by "Denise Holly Ulinskas" married to Douglas Hobbie. And she was born in "1944" an American writer and illustrator, in the early "1970's" they became extremely popular and put out by "American Greetings" and today you can still find them on line as games that are popular with young girls. (at least my 6year old grand daughter says by action) :) I looked this up for my non American friends.

A pretty clock and a flower vase.

The images on this screen are so beautiful it's a table top screen (wishing it were room size) made in "Japan".

Can you stand to see more tags, there just so quick and easy to do and I have fun making them up for the store.

This little wooden box with Mother of Pearl in the flowers is a "trick" box, I really have a thing for these. As a young girl I had a really complex one and of course all my treasures went in there because no one could open it. After that I was hooked!

An old ice cream maker~Talk about memories! My Mom & Dad did this for us kids a lot. So much fun.

The Chair

I went out and bought a chair for my Father and us to sit in, he has two hip replacements and a bad back so I thought a non soft chair would be great for him. He stands most of the time because he is in pain a lot. But he has such a wonderful disposition and never complains. The pillow reverses to a floral pattern and is really lovely and comfortable. It has cooled down for us here and has been a very comfortable 73 degrees. Just a nice family weekend going on with my kids and grand kids.

Ouch!

I can relate to Mr. Bush, people make fun of an injured middle finger.

That's Mu ah in the mirror I hand minor finger surgery, they had to cut the bottom pad to see what the heck was in there? During all the construction on the house I had something in there cause every time I grabbed on to something I got a searing pain. And you could feel this little nodule so they dug out scare tissue. Scar tissue? Huh? That's it....whatever. Now it hurts like hell so I'm not sure it was worth it. Oh well at least I have my comfort monkeys.

The Cigar Gal

Today was a nice slow Sunday again so I ran around purging my cupboards and plastic bins of some of my collections to put in the shop, which felt great. I'm actually finding room to put the necessities in there in stead of "stuff" :) Took a bunch of "unfinished" projects and just started throwing them together to get rid of them. I love this old cigar lady she looks so mischievous and is a real lady of the old west. I'm dying some cloth to make a hanger for her right now. Purging stuff feels so good, I think I've been watching to much of the show "Hoarders".

My New Tree

Crape Myrtle! I always wanted one of these so I grabbed it today.

They come in so many colors, Light Lavender, Dark Lavender, Hot Pink, Light Pink, Red, White.

There so beautiful and they bloom through August-September depending on which one you choose. Also this one "Tuscarora" has pretty orange & red foliage in the fall and they are deciduous.

Then I have never seen this succulent and went nuts for it. I don't normally grow cactus but I saw the trailing feature and these little red flowers. They lady at the garden center did not know the name and no tag so I'm trying to find out the name?

New Creations For Estate Sell

I bought several candle holders at a thrift store and decided to make cake plates or just plain show off your stuff plates.

My beautiful "Bavarian Plate" on this one I did not know my only one candle stick was not even so it's crooked! Aghhhhhhh of course it had to be the expensive one :(

These will go in the shop (actually Estate sell) to sell. I thought it would brighten up the place and make something different from what we have.
Pretty china plate
This crystal snifter glass was perfect for this pretty Japanese Plate.
