Cause my husband went here..while I stayed home

I'm entertaining a lot while he's gone..

And he's being entertained...

I'm working with stressed out customers...

And he's relaxing...

At least the customers tell me great jokes once in awhile..

But all I can think about is this...

Soon as I get off work I'm doing this...

And this (no I'm not baking cupcakes, it's just a nice way to say I'm taking the two dogs out for the umpteenth time!)

I'm teaching my son the facts for hunting down a job...

It's not going so well.....

It's Monday and I'm back to Happy customers. "Sir having a credit is a good thing? if you don't want a credit then I will give your money back since "you" paid to much. "No keep it I don't want it!!!!) o.kkkkkkkkk.

Then who saves the day "Mr. Olsen"

Let me tell you how it was in the old days....(I love the old days people were much nicer) then it's back home to be a "Domestic Goddess"...

My husband says it's kinda boring here...

Little...Big Girls Dream Come True

Since I was a very young girl I have always wanted a make up vanity like this one. I would look at antiques and think "oh to sit down and put my make up on and brush my hair at night would be so wonderful.

My girlfriend Jaci who I have known all my life called me and said "Remember that Antique bedroom set I have and you said if I ever sold it you wanted first pick? Well it's yours if you still want it" And then when she told me the price I was stunned. Way to cheap, I told her I would be stealing it from her. And she stated "I don't care I just want everything out of the house so I can sell it and move on" She's down sizing to a small condo. I just could not believe my ears so I walked.....ran over there with the money and more and she fought me saying it's to much. I told her to shut up and take it. Friends are like that you know never wanting to take advantage. Some day I hope to return the favor.

It was painted and shabied up and the detail is so sweet. Now when my son moves out I will make up a guest room that is a light cream blue and put this in there. I'm so excited! "Oh son.......

A Fine Son

This is my son when he was around 8 years old freckled faced and smiling, he has always been quiet and reserved. Only one friend could make him laugh and act like a kid and when this happened he was so happy.


His brother who is 13 years older than him got married and Brandon had his first dance with his step sister Ashley. I could not believe he went out there and danced! I was so happy watching him enjoying him self.

At 19 the freckles are gone and he is still that sweet quiet soul that is my joy. Thanks for letting a proud mother indulge herself :)

What a nice slow Thursday, the weather is much cooler than it has been so I thought I would go to some Antique and Collectible shops today. First I stopped off and got this great magazine "Rooms Of Bliss" then I picked up some old seam binding and lace, I could have bought a ton if I had a ton of money :)

Another tag I made last evening for the store. All in all it was a fun day except for my sweats! I asked the lady in the store if she had something I could fan myself with, and she was more than obliging getting me some cool water. I mean it was nice out at 85 degrees but she ran no air conditioning! at all. Keep your customers happy honey they will stay longer.
