Oh how time flies!

Hi everyone.

I'm still in the land of the living. I just haven't had time to craft lately

I was meant to be guest designer for Kenny Ks Krazy Challenges last week, and just did not get a card made in time. There is another blog hop starting today, so please show your support and hop along!

Spesch Designer stamps have just released a few more gorgeous Digital Stamps - Have a peek here!

Ladybug and Friends - the team are doing wonderful work showcasing the papers and stamps which are available to buy here!

It was Poppy's 2nd Birthday on Friday, and we had a party for her, and again yesterday. Here are some photos of her!

Hope to catch you all soon

Sorry ...

I've not been around for a couple of days, I've been having some time with my gorgeous girl!

I think you all know if you've been reading my blog that I'm not in the best place at the moment, mentally - Its a dark place with a HUGE grey cloud that hovers around my head and some days its darker than normal. The tablets have kicked in and I don't cry as much, but I still miss my brother and the whole 'Me having Cancer' thing has got me screwed up! I see a counsellor on Tuesday - I hope she can help me see sense!

On Monday we went to
Smugglers Barn in Abbotsbury, West Dorset - Not far from where we live and had an hour there seeing the animals and playing on the tractors. I had a major cold, snot everywhere, and Poppy now has it too!

Poppy with the pink Cow which you could milk (well it had udders but only water came out - supposed to mimic milking a cow - yuk)

Uncle Chris with Poppy on a toy tractor

The photo's below were taken on Tuesday when we visited
Swanage to lay Poppy's Great Grandma Mimi's ashes in the cemetery she picked out in her will. It was a funny day - the rain lashed down when we were in the cemetery and as we left in the cars, the sun came out and clouds departed. Every time we were outside we had showers, when we were in, the sun came out and it looked lovely! We went to the beach where Mimi spent some of her young adult life as she grew up there. Was nice to spend the afternoon there, but my cold was horrendous. I couldn't stop sneezing and blowing my nose. Its all sore now too!

Today, as it was getting on in the day and I'd not had Poppy out for some fresh air I decided to take her to the beach. We went to Charmouth Beach - not far from where we live, about 15 mins in the car if that, and I let her go plodging in the water - the photo's below are of Poppy in the River Char, just before it meets the sea!

Just thought you'd like to see some photo's of her, enjoying some quality time with me and her family! Shame I was behind the camera - but then again - you don't need to see my ugly mug hehe!

Had a wonderful day today at the wedding...

...If you saw my post for Friday Sketchers, you would have seen a card for a wedding. Well today was the day and the card is just below this post if you've not already seen it!

My friend Katie got married today at 1pm. It was a lovely service and Poppy was well behaved throughout! Although, she did have a little whinnie when all the other babies/children started to talk and babble when the first hymn started!

Here are some pictures I'd like to share with you of my friends special day. I would be at the evening doo now, but Poppy is fast asleep as she hasn't napped all day due to being over excited at everything that was going on. She went to bed at 6pm and its now gone 8pm so I think I'm in for a late night with her. No matter, I can get all my commenting done for the Stampin' Challenge and the challenges that I've entered this week :o)

Here is my friend Katie with her new Hubby Paul

Poppy Swing

Well - I have just got back from the Grandparents house after having a lovely roast dinner and chat. Poppy loves it round there, her Grandparents (my in-laws) are bonkers!

Anyways - when we arrived at half six this evening, grandma (Ama) wanted to know if Poppy would like to go in the garden and have a look at her new present. I thought it might have been a paddling pool or something for when the weather picks up, but no.. Hanging from the aged Apple tree was a lush bright pink bucket swing.

Poppy LOVED it... smiling, laughing, squealing with delight.

I only managed to get one picture, and it was taken on the phone, so sorry for the bad quality.

She is soooooooooo CUTE!!!

Anyways, enough of the baby chat - back to crafting... Now....................... Where'd I put my DST???

Poppy and Daddy are mobile

... After much deliberation and trying out a few baby carriers, we found this one today. We tried it out at the beach today, but my phone/camera battery was running low, so I only managed to get one photo...
I thought I'd put another in, of Poppy enjoying a crumpet too! Yumm Yumm...
