Bonnie - New Release and a Challenge or two!

Bonnie is available in more poses! I fell in love with her a while back and when Tracey said she was having more made up I couldn't wait! I love the five new stamps of Bonnie which you can find here! in digital format.

I have made a card for the release (which was today {8/9/10} however, australia land is waaaaay ahead of us in time scale so I couldn't post it in time as it wasn't dry in time). So I left it over night and have just taken some photos and here she is...

I've used papermania paper and ribbon and a velum with embossed glittered flowers on (not sure of the maker). Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, brads are from a friend who is a technophobe :o) I used Copics to colour her in and added some glamour mist to the flowers.

Tracey is offering 5 lucky people to win one of the new Bonnie stamps, all you have to do is click here, and comment on the post. The winners will be picked from the comments!

I've followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday who are being sponsored this week by Kraftin Kimmie stamps. Check out the sketch and the amazing creations here.
I'm also joining the
Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge  as they are keeping it clean and simple this week. (Apart from the flowers, I think its a fairly simple card!)

Good Luck for the chance of winning the Bonnie stamps, and thank you for popping by to visit me today!

One card - 7 Challenges! Fathers Day!

I've created this early as I probably wont get a chance between now and June 20th as I will be away on holiday on the 6th June and I have lots to do between now and then with getting back to work sorted & pre assessments for my operation on June 24th. So...

I've made a Fathers Day card.
I'm to make three this year, one for my own dad, one for Stephen's Dad and one for Stephen from Poppy and me. Not sure who this will be going to, but you can bet we will be celebrating Fathers Day.

Coloured with Distress Inks, Copics for the grass.
The Lili of the Valley stamp is NEW as are the papers.
The Sausage image I drew myself.
I started with the Sketch and then looked at different challenges to see which ones I could join and which ones I was already eligible to join in with!
I'm entering this card into these challenges!

LaLa Land Crafts - Anything Goes
Stamp With Fun - Stripes
Stamp Something - Celebrate Something
Sketch Saturday - A Sketch
The Crazy Challenge - Something New
Cute Card Thursday - Someone Special
Rosie-Ds Challenge - Easel Card

Exciting News!! New DT and Bearly Mine DT work + Sketch Saturday Challenge

Di from Di's Digital Downloads has given me a place on her fabulous DT.
Di did a call out and was initially looking for 6 people to join her team. However, I think there is now 14 of us including Di herself!

I've created this beautiful card (if I do say so myself) as my first creation for Di's Digital Downloads.

The image is called 'I brought you some Bluebells' and I think he is rather sweet.
I coloured him with Prisma Colour Pencils and added Copic shades W1, W3, W5 and W7 for the shadowing.
Flowers, leaves and pearl spray from Wild Orchid Crafts

I am entering this card into Sketch Saturday which is a sketch by the lovely Maya.
It was so easy to follow and I loved playing!
The prize this week is a lovely hAnglar stamp - So sweet

The fabulous papers are from an up coming Digi Download from Donna at Bearly Mine Designs.
I believe these papers will be released on Friday this week.
They come from the sets Gingham and Checks (the blue checked paper) and Flowers Delight (the bluebells I have used for the three middle bits), the third Digi Set with be polka dots.
Donna also has some amazing deals on ebay for her fabulous discs. Gotta be quick though!

Sketch Saturday

My Mojo has gone on a walkabout. I've managed to get a card made, I'm happy with it (ish ish). I LOVE the image, and the layout, but I dunno. Maybe it needs more? Flowers maybe? I dunno... lol

I've made this card using the Sketch over at Sketch Saturday
Its a nice easy one this week, which is why I had so much trouble using it ha ha.

This gorgeously cute image is from Di's Digi Downloads! Its called Sharing a Birthday Note!
I LOVE him. I'm not one to usually go for cats but awe - bless... I love the kitten looking over his shoulder! So Sweet!

The papers are Papermania and are called Rose Garden and are beautiful.
I bought TWO packs, one to keep and one to use lol!
How sad is that!
I know I will use both sets.
Just wish they did more than two of each in a set! The sentiment is also part of the Rose Garden collection, and I've added Glossy Accents to give it a nice raised effect.
Gems are from Stash, and I used the MS Butterfly punch for the inside of the easel card.

And here is a little close up of Di's Image! coloured with Copics.
Also used Glossy Accents here to give their noses a shine, and added some to the candle, heart wax on envelope and the ribbon on the pressie!

Thank you for popping by!

MDUC, Stamp with Fun, ABC and Sketch Saturday!

I've made a card for my sister, who celebrates her birthday on the 15th February.
I've made the card with a few challenges in mind. I first saw the challenge over at
Magnolia Down Under which was Pink and Grey - Gorgeous combination, and I loved playing with the pinks and greys!

Stamp with Fun
have the challenge of hearts - well I'm hoping that I can use this card for the challenge as the gorgeous little
Ladybug Hearts Tilda has a staff with a heart and also donning a gorgeous head band (antennae) of little hearts too!

ABC Challenge
are asking for some New stash to be used, well the stamp on the front, the papers and the ladybug charm are all new!!

Sketch Saturday
have a beautiful sketch to follow which was so easy, and the team have flipped and turned, but I was happy with it the way it was. Except of course using an oval instead of the circle!!

My card then! ...

Stamps - Ladybug Hearts Tilda, Lazy Summer Tilda (Summer Kit) and Sentiment from Magnolia
Medium - Distress Re-Inkers - Black Soot, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, Antique Linen, Walnut Stain
Card and Papers - 300gsm Watercolour paper, Papermania papers and card.Embellishments - Ladybug charm from e-Bay, Gems from Vicki as a gift from Christmas, Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts

Thank you for popping by!

Magnolia Down Under meets Sketch Saturday!

Over at  Magnolia Down Under the Girls are asking us crafters to use a stamp for another reason... I've used Tilda from the new Winter Kit 2009 - I think this little cutie sits on the Piano in the collection and is more of a 'New Year's' type of gal than a simple 'Thank You' gal as she is all dolled up!
I've also used the Sketch from Sketch Saturday which is fabulous!

Here is my card!

I've just realised looking at the card that I've not put the sentiment on Doh!

Nevermind! I'l put it on my 'to-do' list for later today.
I coloured her with Copics and used my new papers from the Laura Ashley Blossom set which I got as a Christmas pressie. Ribbon, flowers and pearls from stash.

Thanks for popping by, have a wonderful week!

2 in 1 challenge! Just Magnolia and Sketch Saturday!

I've never done a 2 in 1 challenge and feel a little guilty for doing so :o(
I've combined Just Magnolia's week 12 'Charmed' challenge and Sketch Saturday #58 challenge

Over at Sketch Saturday, it was Gills turn to do the challenge and this is her Sketch. It was really fun to do. There was an added option of using red, white and blue.

Gill's Sketch!

For Just Magnolia, the team are wanting to see charms on your card. So I have used these flowers which came with a little key charm. So sweet!

Up close view of the image and flowers :oD

Recipe
Stamps: Magnolia Tilda from the new Summer Collection
