One Card THREE Challenges!

My mojo has up and gone recently and I've been blogging this morning and while sat at my desk I saw some new stash I bought for my birthday and a wee package I was given a little while ago and they were all screaming for me to play.

I'm entering this card into three challenges
Anyone For Anya ~ Fabulous Flowers
Basic Grey ~ Colour Combo (Brown, Cream and Turquoise)
Stamp With Fun ~ A Sketch

Its my first time playing with Basic Grey and also Anyone for Anya so I'm hoping they like my card.

Papers are Basic Grey Cappella which fits nicely with the Brown and Cream them and the dress and flowers on Miss Fleur here are bluey turqoise (Its as near as I could get with the old DI's).
The Rose is from Wild Orchid Crafts and the Prima flowers are a mix of my own stash and those which I was given in a very nice package from a lovely lady recently (which also included the papers and the pearl brads).

I've added some Glitter to her flowers and also some Rock Candy by Ranger to the rose, but it doesnt show very well.

Just before I go - What do you think of my daughter??

Too cute for words, right?...

Last Magnolia Down Under Guest Design Card & some challenges!

Oooo eck - I am so sorry I was watching the Eurovision Song Contest and I forgot to schedule a post. Nevermind... I'm here now, and big Congrats to Germany. I had my bet on them with the other half, he thought it was going to be Denmark and it was close there for a while...

Well its my last week guest designing for Magnolia Down Under Challenges and this week the theme is FLOWERS!
I've not gone MAD with flowers, just added some larger ones than I normally would and I have to say a big thanks to Donna for them, and the lace. She kindly sent me some at Easter and I've only just got round to using them - Thanks hun!
I've used Papermania's Rose Garden papers, and Core'dinations card stock for layering.
I coloured Tilda with Distress Inks and layered her dress. Not sure if the photos show you that.
I added some Glossy accent to her head band on the flowers to give them a little shimmer. I also glamour dusted her petticoat and the trim around her neck and sleeves.

Thanks so much for supporting my guest design time with Magnolia Down Under.. A HUGE thank you to Kellie for inviting me, and another thank you to the MDU Girls - You are an inspiration to us all who love our Maggies! Make sure you pop over to see what the team have created this week!

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Creative Card Crew: Pink and Green
Stampin' for the Weekend: Post Pals - Amelia Grace C
I would have been playing along with this challenge anyway, but having stepped down as owner and given the blog to Sandie and Jan who are doing a marvellous job I thought I'd better show my support. You have until this coming Friday to create a card for a child on the Post Pals site - a card or letter from yourselves would mean a lot to them.
Send a card to a child - Make them smile!

One card - 7 Challenges! Fathers Day!

I've created this early as I probably wont get a chance between now and June 20th as I will be away on holiday on the 6th June and I have lots to do between now and then with getting back to work sorted & pre assessments for my operation on June 24th. So...

I've made a Fathers Day card.
I'm to make three this year, one for my own dad, one for Stephen's Dad and one for Stephen from Poppy and me. Not sure who this will be going to, but you can bet we will be celebrating Fathers Day.

Coloured with Distress Inks, Copics for the grass.
The Lili of the Valley stamp is NEW as are the papers.
The Sausage image I drew myself.
I started with the Sketch and then looked at different challenges to see which ones I could join and which ones I was already eligible to join in with!
I'm entering this card into these challenges!

LaLa Land Crafts - Anything Goes
Stamp With Fun - Stripes
Stamp Something - Celebrate Something
Sketch Saturday - A Sketch
The Crazy Challenge - Something New

MDUC, Stamp with Fun, ABC and Sketch Saturday!

I've made a card for my sister, who celebrates her birthday on the 15th February.
I've made the card with a few challenges in mind. I first saw the challenge over at
Magnolia Down Under which was Pink and Grey - Gorgeous combination, and I loved playing with the pinks and greys!

Stamp with Fun
have the challenge of hearts - well I'm hoping that I can use this card for the challenge as the gorgeous little
Ladybug Hearts Tilda has a staff with a heart and also donning a gorgeous head band (antennae) of little hearts too!

ABC Challenge
are asking for some New stash to be used, well the stamp on the front, the papers and the ladybug charm are all new!!

Sketch Saturday
have a beautiful sketch to follow which was so easy, and the team have flipped and turned, but I was happy with it the way it was. Except of course using an oval instead of the circle!!

My card then! ...

Simon Says meets Stamp with Fun

Its been a crappy few months for me, made worse with having to face seeing in the New Year waiting for a scan on my Ovaries to see if I have a Cyst or something Nasty going on in that area!
To take my mind off this, I have attempted to finish these cards which I coloured images for the other night!
For all of the cards I've used My Minds Eye - Wonderland Winter 12x12 scrapbook papers

Embossed behind every image by masking and stamping the WoJ Winter Swirls and using Clear Embossing powder.

Card/Ribbons/Charms from Stash

Second Card

Used a green pigment ink pad for this embossing

Glossy Accents added to the pressie and hair ribbon

Third Card

Clear embossed this back ground, added glossy accents to the canes and the ribbon on the pressie

Thank you for popping by. I'm hoping to get some more finished that I started a couple of weeks ago, but haven't been able to face in a while!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Soooo a little inspiration from little old me!

I started to make the card and then panicked when I realised that I hadn't made the ribbon a main embellishment. I was so stumped! I began playing with what I had left over from my Halloween Ribbons (Must buy more in preparation for next year!).

I have used Witch Lala and coloured her with Copics. I've given her some groovy green hair and funky green boots too! She looks ready for a party or a night of Trick and Treating!
Here are the Ribbons I've used to create a kind of flower! The cute button in the middle I've had for a while, but never had a use for.
And here is Lala close up!
To get some inspiration from the Design Team and the Guest Designers head on over to La-La Land Crafts Blog.

I am entering this card into a few challenges!

Rosie the Witch says 'Hi!' to Stamp with Fun Challenge!

Good Morning.

I had a little play last night and have taken these photo's this morning with a very dodgy camera. As I have been away for a little while, I've not made any Design Cards for Irina over at La-La Land Crafts for the Guest Designer spot, so I've made this little Halloween card for Stamp with Fun, to try and get me back into the swing of things.

Its a lovely sketch this week which you will see I have turned on its side.

Well, Mr Mojo has gone walk about, so this was the best I could come up with last night. Witch on the Broom Rosie can be bought from La-La Land Crafts, as can her friends Lala and the animals, which have all got dressed up for the Halloween celebrations.

A little close up of Rosie - Coloured with Copics and highlighter with Inkssentials, I also added a streak of green to her hair to add a little more detail :D

Some more photos of the card. Including one of my new Head Pins with a bat on top - Cute huh?

The papers were sent to me by Irina in my Design package along with the stamps. The spotty paper however, is mine and came from BoBunny. The sentiment is from Penny Black along with the webs and spiders which I arranged around the 'Boo' and the corner web top right corner.

Before you go to leave a comment or shoot off to the next blog, I have some :

Good News!
Stampin' for the Weekend will be up and running again as of the 9th October!
See you then for more fun challenges!

Thank you for popping by !

Stamp With Fun : #17 Pearls

I've never taken part in this Challenge, So I thought it was about time I did!

Over at Stamp with Fun, the theme this week is Pearls.

This is an anniversary card I have made for my Brother and Sister in Law. They were married three years ago today, but they class their real wedding as of tomorrow as they had two services. They were officially married at a civil ceremony on the 28th and then on the 29th they exchanged rings with a beautiful service held in my Sister in Laws Fathers house and HUGE back garden.

Here is a little close up of the image, you cant see it, but I've accented her little flowers in her hair with Glitter and also highlighted her dress. I didnt want to use the white pen on this card as thought the lines would be too intrusive to these pale shades, so have gently shaded with the copics!

~ Recipe ~

Stamps : The Greetings Farm Cake Topper (thanks Amy :oD), Whiff of Joy Wedding sentiment
Medium : Copics, Spica Clear Glitter Pen
Card/Paper : Papermania Textures Card Stock and Paper from Regency Collection, K&Co Life's Journey
Tools : Retro flower punch two sizes
Embellies : Pearl brad from stash, Papermania Pearl Adhesive accents!

Thanks for popping by !
