First week!

Ok you lovely lot, I am very pleased to be able to share my first pages from my organiser with you!

I'm not entirely sure how happy I am with this page but love the effect of the cute characters in the tape. Both stickers and tape were from paperchase.

I've also decorated a double spread for this week. Again I'm not too sure on this, maybe it's beginners nerves? We're off to  Disneyland  Paris to see in the New Year tomorrow, so I've used a combination of Paris tape, which I received for Christmas  and the Disney tapes which I already had.

I decorated using Mickey stickers which came from Amazon, and felt the little travelling themed post-it's made a cute addition to the page as we're technically travelling this week.

eBay

I'm not normally one to buy from eBay, and probably just as well otherwise I would own about 30 filofaxes of varying sizes by now (I kid you not!) but this little bundle seemed sweet as apparently the seller was having a craft room clear out.

Some of the stickers are quite big so I think I'll be using them for scrapbooking rather than filofax as even for an A5 I think they're too big. As well as stickers I got these mouse shaped embellishments. I'm going to stick some to paperclips to use in my organiser when it arrives but I'm not too sure about the rest as there's a lot there. I'm sure I'll be able to put them to good use though.

There was also about 20 rolls of tape in this bundle, some of it used although not much. There was such a wonderful variety of tapes. The line up included Mickey Mouse, Aristocats, Snoopy and Hello Kitty, There's certainly plenty there to keep my busy for a little while.

White Strawberry

White Strawberry, might just be my new favourite shop, I've even kept their business card for my filofax as I was so impressed with both their products and the service I received from them. Not only did my order arrive really quickly, but they included some complementary stickers. I'm so eager to use these little beauties, they've definitely been my favourite so far.

This is the haul I got from their lovely store. It was a real challenge to limit my choices down even to these. I was overwhelmed with the variety available, I felt a bit like a child in a sweet shop.

Llama memo pads were a must as they've got plenty of room for notes whilst still being super sweet. Plus I liked the fact that the white one looks like a sheep!

Similarly, I loved the bunnies. Each one has a cute little patterned jump suit on. My favourite is the rainbow bunny I think. They're so cute its going to be a challenge to use these as at the moment I really just want to hoard them and keep them forever.

As you know I've been loving a bit of a cat option lately and I just adored this little kawaii cat with his sticky paws to put all over my planner and any other place I can find.

I picked a couple of diary stickers with holes too. I think they might be too small to go over punched holes but will be great for highlighting important dates such as birthdays and anniversaries. I opted for three designs: donuts, animals and cats.

These are the stickers I got free with my order, they're all funny little men and quite sweet.

These are cute little memo stickers to write on. I think I'll be using these for important dates and themed pages. Again though, these are so sweet I don't know how I'll bear to use them as I want to just keep them forever, but where would be the fun in that?

Stickers

So, it's pretty clear one of my new weaknesses is stickers. Needless to say I couldn't resist picking up some new ones to add to the collection today.

I've been eager to add some Hello Kitty goodness to the planner stash for some time, so couldn't resist these.

There were two themes available so of course I did what every good hoarder does and chose both! I love the red ones, I think they're really funky but I also think the pink ones are really sweet.

I also indulged in some cat stickers as I was really needing a cat fix today. In other news I'm also temporarily prohibited from browsing the pet finder website as I start to suggest we should adopt every cat on there. The occasional puppy too.

Inspired by Hetty, I picked out some hedgehog stickers too. These will be great for a lovely fall spread once I get my Filofax. I'm thinking I could match them with some orange and red tape.

Stationery Friday

Mr S has come up with a new tradition: Stationery Friday. This involved another trip to my favourite store, Paperchase. I was really spoilt for choice in there today and didn't know what to pick. In the end we settled on some washi tapes and stickers as you can never have enough of those.

I couldn't get enough of close ups today either, there were so many cute purchases! I love this tape, it oddly reminds me of dreams. Maybe that's what the range is called? Either way I love the pastel colours and the sweet little cartoon characters.

We picked out these as well, mainly I have to admit for the orange cat tape, although I'm in love with washi in general at the moment.

I love these stickers, they have a wonderful vintage feel to them. I feel like they should be used with lace doilies and things with tea cups printed on them. I particularly liked the cherries but then I can seldom resist a good cherry print anyway!

These too have that vintage vibe, I may have to plan an afternoon tea and have that theme for a week in my planner. It's even giving me the urge to make cupcakes!

Mr S picked out the rockets which are pretty funky anyway but I love the fact that the rockets are being driven by cats. I'm definitely a cat lady, and since ours sadly passed away the house feels lacking, but it's too soon to get another cat yet (not that I'm not getting the urge anyway)

I love these sweet little stickers too. I'd love an orange cat so these put a smile on my face and I think they'll work well with the cat themed washi tape. I've started to try and think about themes to put together rather than just selecting random things because I like them.

Yippee

Yet more pink and girly fabulousness has found its way into my not so little stack of supplies today. They're really pretty and surprisingly dainty looking whilst also appearing to be made of quite strong material, although the real test will be actually using them.

Another little delight from a sleepless night. I'd forgotten I'd ordered these but then as they came from Japan that's not surprising. In fact they shipped really quickly so if you're into that sort of thing I'd definitely recommend giving Kawaii Japan a look on Amazon.

These are hole reinforcers and will be perfect for Valentine's week. They're really lovely and I think as long as they're durable I'll definitely be ordering these again, that's for sure. I really can't wait to get decorating!

Spoilt? Moi?

Now I may or may not have been a spoilt little starlet today as Mr S treated me whilst we were out shopping today. A quick trip to good old reliable Paperchase and I had some much coveted additions to my ever growing stack of supplies. Their Christmas range was just too irresistible and as such I've got some lush new bits for my bag, although perhaps that had soon better be box?

I absolutely fell in love with these vintage themed stickers. I particularly like the deer and the postboxes. They slightly remind me of Cath Kidston, I think particularly as some of the images are similar to the illustrations in my Christmas planner.

The paperclip love continues with these reindeer shaped beauties. Their quirkiness is fantastic and the range of colours means they could go with any colour scheme which is also a bonus. I like them so much I suspect I shall be using them even in August.

Continuing with my recent love of food with faces, how could I resist these brussell sprouts? The fact that they have faces pretty much made my week. I've even threatened to find a sprout shaped decoration to put on our tree this year. That suggestion however, went down like a lead balloon.

These festive little guys made me smile, especially the penguin. We all need to smile sometimes and these seem like a pretty good excuse if you ask me. I'm looking forward to sticking these all over my planner before I randomly stick them all over the fridge or something... hurry up Christmas!

New Goodies

Now one of the wonderful albeit dangerous things about Amazon, is that there are so many wonderful things available in one place at the click of a button. Cue a little insomnia and the result is... you guessed it, more supplies for my Filofax. Thankfully at this point there are only 33 days or 4 Saturdays left before Christmas and getting my Filofax.

I wanted some ring reinforcers as I'm a touch clumsy and wanted to minimize the number of accidents I have with pages, Naturally I chose colourful ones as I love all things bright and colourful and these seemed a fantastic way to brighten up any pages. I've also been oggling some cute ones on etsy but I think I'll wait until after Christmas and maybe make a dent in the supply of things I've already begun to hoard.

Whilst I was shopping I couldn't resist these Mickey Mouse stickers. Mr S and I love a trip to Disney, so there is always ample opportunity to use these in the dates ahead. After all we're going to be seeing in the New Year there and then we're back there for Mr S' birthday shortly after.

Crayola twistables are fantastic as the colours are lovely and they're bright enough to be seen without overpowering or bleeding through pages. I love that you don't need to sharpen them. I was really upset when I lost my last set to my niece and nephew so treated myself to some of my own.

I also picked these up for the bargain price of £1.50 or something. I was a little disappointed as they're actually tiny but then at that price what did I expect? Something bizarre also happened when I photographed them as the picture looks really vibrant and fun, however in reality the colours were actually quite dark but they'll still be perfect for prettying up the Filofax.

Shhh!!

Soooooooo,,, I may have been a very naughty little starlet today! I nipped into town and spotted at a few bits and pieces that will be great little additions to my stationery collection. By a few, I of course mean I bought probably more than I needed but there were so many cute bits how could I resist?

I got some fantastic bits from the good old pound shop. I've got a real thing for paper clips at the moment so I jumped at the opportunity to stock up on some cute shaped ones. I particularly like the fish shaped ones.

I couldn't resist adding to the washi tape stash and picked up some fab ones from The Works and Wilkinsons. Now I've just got to find somewhere to keep them all, At the moment they're still in their packets in a big bag currently known as the filofax supplies.

I also picked up these sweet little pads from the pound store. I couldn't choose between the two so I got both as they will go quite nicely with most themes, plus I just love a good list so special paper for it is always a bonus!

I also stocked up on stickers as I've been threatening to stick them everywhere in my impatience. Although I got some cute tatty teddy ones in the pound shop I also picked up these as they're basic and versatile. In addition to that they were really easy on the pocket at 50p a packet. What's not to love about that?

One thing is for sure, Christmas needs to hurry up and get here so I can get my organiser and get decorating, otherwise Mr S is going to need to get me a work room for Christmas rather than just a filofax! Not that I would complain about having a whole work room instead of just a work space of course.

Epic Win!

Having a little sort out today and found these hiding in an old folder. Epic win!

Yes that's right. The stationary nut has stationary themed stickers AND they have faces. I can scarcely contain my excitement because they're that awesome. These shall most definitely adorn the pages of everything I can justify putting them on and some things I can't.

I love that they have faces and even better than that, the face is different depending on which colour the pencil is. Awesome!

I must say, starting this blog has certainly taught me some things about myself. For example I would normally profess to being freaked out by things with faces but there are at least three different sets of stickers I've shared with you over the past fortnight where I've squealed in delight over their creepy little faces. How funny. It's interesting what you find out about yourself when you put pen to paper.

Sticker Stash

Well in searching for my Christmas card making supplies I discovered a whole host of yummy stickers which have of course moved into the Filofax bag. Some of them I think will get used for scrap booking instead as I think they're much better suited to that but mostly they'll be used for the much anticipated Filofax!

There appear to be lots of butterflies in there but there were some other real gems too.

I was amazed to discover I'd got some more Paperchase stickers stashed away. These are mostly lovey dovey ones although I particularly like the tea cups and sheep. The cups have faces which is just awesome, even better that they look like my favourite beverage... tea!

I had quite a few sheets of these and they're wonderfully funky! These will be perfect for those summer pages and maybe even some funky 70s themed pages. I particularly love the camper vans. Oh to have a camper van and spend my days inside it making things and drinking tea. That would be just the most immense bliss.

Tesco

Now Tesco would not be one of my usual haunts for stationary items, I often find the choice quite generic but I was not disappointed today. I got this lovely little haul which I'm itching to use.

As I've mentioned several times already I love a good flag post-it so couldn't resist the arrows and they were really easy on the pocket too costing only about 80p. Double win! I thought the speech bubbles would be nice with the stickers I got from Paperchase the other day so of course they went into the bag too.

I couldn't resist these either. The ponies have slightly creepy faces but they're scratch and sniff not to mention loads of fun. I thought the bugs were the best though, some of them have moving eyes which caused much entertainment thus making them a necessity.

Now paperclips are something I seldom use, I just don't find them very appealing but having spent ample time on Pinterest and Etsy over the last few days that concept has quickly begun to change and I find myself drooling over more and more paperclips in funky shapes. Cat ones are next on my wish list! (of course) but I loved these too. Now I've just got to remember they're not too lovely to use!

More Surprises

There were more surprises for me today in my stash! I found two sets of stickers I'd totally forgotten I'd got! One I know was a Christmas present from about three years ago but I'm not too sure where the Mickey Mouse ones came from and I am not complaining.

I love all things Disney and these will be perfect with some polka dot washi tape. They'd fallen down the side of my chest of drawers and I have no idea how long they've been there but it means they haven't faded or creased as luckily they were still in their plastic packaging. One very happy starlet here today folks, let me tell you!

The other lovely find which I'd also forgotten I'd got were some lovely letter writing kits. One is from Paperchase, the other Cath Kidston. They've both got lovely patterns on them and are just adorable. I'm a big fan of handwritten letters as Mr S will tell you and I think it's sad when nothing exciting comes in the post anymore. I make a lot of my own cards at the moment as I get ready for Christmas and I love adding personal touches to them. Letters are the same, these will eventually wind up with Mr S and that makes me feel amazing!

I'm loving my mystery finds at the moment, I'm sure the pre-festive tidy up will yield many more yet, after all we're not even in December yet!

Paperchase

Now what sort of stationary lover would I be without a good old haul from Paperchase? It forms a staple part of my pen and paper diet, even if it is sometimes a touch pricey. For me, going in there is a bit like going into a sweet shop. Well actually it's better, given the choice I'd pretty much always choose pens and paper.

I treated myself to some schedule stickers as they were a bit prettier than the ones I'd already got. Added with the fact I have a big family, I'll probably need the birthday stickers! Overall, I was really pleased with this little haul as I felt I got a lot for my pennies. It may have been preemptive but I picked up some to do pages and some A5 coloured paper as it worked out cheaper than buying the pre-punched stuff and I'm not too worried about it being lined, I may even give some of the pretty templates I've seen on Pinterest a go.

Ah washi tapes... I'm completely new to washi tapes so ridiculously in love with them and added them to my supply bag every opportunity I get. I couldn't resist the cute little penguin design which I thought would be perfect for winter. The polar bears are pretty sweet too. The loose one is apparently a mushroom design, I liked its monochromatic graphic style.

I couldn't resist a new sticker haul either, especially the Parisian ones with the sweet little Eiffel Towers. I'm also really drawn to weather stickers as well for some reason. I think it's because they have faces when they shouldn't have faces. Either way, they make me smile and that's something I will definitely need in my planner.
