From a variety of locations Hans, Gunther, Zappi and Jean-Herve come together to look back at the period between 1971 and 1974, during which time they revolutionised the history of music in the space of just four years. What began in a Hamburg (Sternschanze) bunker in 1970 would send shockwaves around the world, require their mums to bail them out of jail and see the release of four albums and the mythical "Munich album" Punkt, which Faust recorded at Giorgio Moroder's Musicland Studios.

Kirk was a towering creative genius and an artist whose fearless experimentation revolutionised music. Formed in 1973, Cabaret Voltaire were pioneers of electronic and industrial music. Their experimental use of synthesisers and tape loops has influenced generations of pop, house, techno and art-rock artists, and in his solo work, Kirk continued to transform the UK club scene pushing sound in spaces no one else thought to go. He will be greatly missed.
