From Frank Goshit ,who is the one-man band ,Bertha's Melissa , a doomy keyboard sound ,with added crinkly static noises ,to annoy you a little bit more ,on his 3 songs. The one track from Cokcute is lo-fi harsh shitnoise ,like running a static radio through a p.a. system ,blaring it ,and recording it from a boombox placed precariously, inside a beaten-up ,old-school ,metal trash can. In other words , this disc adds up to 25 minutes of wallowing in the shitcore mire funtime!! On Absurd Koo ,release oo1 !! in a ltd. edition of 15.

ARTHUR MCBRATNEY - The Lost Tapes

Arthur ,older brother to Patrick ,of Lava Church Records, recorded all these snippets and songs ,over the years.There are seconds long drum beat pieces ,and up to 14 minute noise jams.Many musical genres are explored ,from New-Order-ish keyboardy things ,to ska to hardcore ,to metal ,to pensive ,somber ,and quieter pieces. A 2 disc journey into the mind of a mentor (to Li'l bro Patrick ,and now maybe to many other folks out there!) ,and it's interesting and always moving ,and makes for great listening in any kind of weather situation! There's also some great liner notes in the zip ,Patrick's note to his brother,which is touching. I've had it on my mp3 player for a week ,and there it will stay til' I am satisfied!Thanks Patrick and Arthur!

KAAGOOTAABAA - I Want To Drink Illegally, Forever

Sumpin' new ,from Kaagoo!!! This time round ,he does a couple of Sockeye covers, an Ecstacy induced overblown power keyboard electronic number,some guitar instrumentals including a GG cover ,and a 6 part (placed strategically throughout this recording) digital-delay/sampler mess ,with Kaa rambling on to himself,stoned out of his gourd! ANAL PAIN - Six Inches

Weird,computer produced,syncopated keyboard doom/tard/metal ,led by death metal vocals,and low growl spoken pieces,this sounds to me like the pop/scum/grindcore split e.p. ,that G G Allin and Seth Putnam ,never got to make together! The singing is a cross of both those guys,and the spoken stuff sounds like G G's stuff with Shrinkwrap,and his jailhouse diatribes.Really demented and funny ,with some synthesized metal riffs. There's even a cover of Guns And Roses ,"Welcome To The Jungle" , re-tooled here as ,"Welcome To BoJangles" ,with hilarious vocals and lyrics.Another big change-up here is ,"Oi,Oi,Vegemoi" ,where the vocals and viewpoint,are from that of an Aussie.And that cover art is something else! Holy crap!
Thanks to Bob L. for sending this in to post,and maybe he can give us more info and insight into this weirdcore band?!?!
