GREEN TRIANGLE- +orange claw hammer super bonus

joel rizzo,as green triangle,in some of his earliest work.the other green triangle post on this blog was the last thing he recorded under that name.this is some of the first.very alt-rock,power electronic,guitar based riffs,electro space organ keys,some spoken stuff,and at the end a surprise mini-super-bonus of a half dozen ORANGE CLAW HAMMER songs.one is a segment of a longer song,one is an instr. tony is on the och stuff,and i believe he helps out joel on some of this.some cool samples and sounds,this is the future now only long ago but coming back around to now,still not caught up with the current times,far surpassing what passes for music today.get this NOW!

an inconspicuous, shy,mysterious man,can be heard here.member of many bands,including some pretty high profile alternative bands(which we can't mention here,sorry),in tons of sluggisha bands,he of the crazy lyrics and insane vocal stylations,mad guitar skills,and a love of the beatles and the beach boys that goes beyond the norm.one of the finest guitarists i've personally known,and a great friend and bandmate.this is some of his solo experimentations,and songs with these bands,:the headlaunchers,gutbucket,black nerd,insect t-shirts,apocalyptic centurions(from their only non-live recording,the original cat machine house tapes),hackensack killers,boogie woogie brainwash,one fell swoop.cat machine,and the candy butchers.covers of dinosaur jr.,dick dale,sonic youth,the shaggs,and sly and the family stone.lots of record and tape manipulations to start off this journey,and lots of overblown guitar!one of the best musicians with one of the greatest musical knowledges,to ever have existed.don't miss this,some good stuff that should not be missed,check this blog for more of chipmunk's work,thanks,G O D. p.s. pic is of his grade school girlfriend,can't put his pic for fear of exposure.

VANCE BURDGE-early solos

Vance is one of my best buds.We were in tons of projects together,but I'm not on this at all.But Nathan Adams,Eric'Trig'Triglet,and Nick Dunphee,do help out a little.About 50/50 on originals vs. covers.Some of the covers are from David Bowie,Love and Rockets,Christian Death,Black Sabbath,the Beatles,Bauhaus,the Go-Go's,and Vanilla Ice.You can kinda tell why we called him 'The Count',due to his affinity for goth.The Go-Go's ,Vanilla Ice,and Bauhaus numbers are parodies about local luminaries such as Shawn,Splashman,and Guy Gentry.There's also a hilarious imitation of Nick Dunphee on, 'Nick the What?'He leads off with the only country song I think he ever recorded,and goes into his goth styled tunes,some real trippin'stuff,and all those ace covers.Check his name on this blog ,He's probably in half the bands featured here!A fantastic all around friend,musician,singer,and the best engineer /soundman we had.A very accomplished artist. not related to cbgbs,except for the fact that it's punky music.kinda ultra intellectual tardcore.like a t v with nothing but information ,or a set of encyclopedias,or sitting in a college course,listening to professors.song lyrics vary greatly,every subject is touched upon,the music is varied as well,sticking to a mostly punk /tard style,but some metal leanings are also heard.i also hear a bit of minor threat like emo/caring type of vibe.it's a trip to the library,a virtual cornucopia of information.i play all instruments,a real drum kit,all vocals,i am all alone here again.very cohesive sound ties it all together in a neatly wrapped package.a/k/a the tee vee gee bees,also has nothing to do with the bee gees.a real lone wolf sounding type of recording that will either cheer you up or make you even more depressed,but laughing.with a germs cover.art by me.pretty fuckin'cool,a good listen .click here for zip file: https://archive.org/download/TheTvgbs/121TheTvgbs.zip

yes folks it's me solo again doing the original 88 songs on this demo,one of the greatest unknown punk bands in the world,i bet we coulda been green dayif someone knew us.started life as THE GABBAS,recorded all you hear here,went thru 5 different line-ups before hitting the right chemistry,and started doing live gigs.this is grade a punk rock in the vein of ramones,queers,dwarves,misfits,and other pop-punk greats.covers of ricky nelson,david bowie and the lower 1/3,the nerves,shoes,germs,sweet baby,buddy holly,the undertones,the weirdos,simpletones,and more.songs deal with drugs,being the outcast,love,girls,ther'es a surf instro,a 60's garage band rave-up,an 80's sounding emo style number,and just some flat out great punk.i did it alone,then vance joined me(i still wrote all music and lyrics)and then we tried mike smith,and tony rizzo.next group had jamie and mason plus us.finally mike brophy and jay(on guitar)sealed our fate.we played many live shows at various locales,mainly draft house,but also pyramids,lee county fairgrounds,offbeat records,the indigo room,and more.first gig ever our name was the gabbas,before we went on we decided on a name change.i had just been recording a bunch of germs,so i started calling out song titles,some audience members were around us as well,when i got to the part of the list and said," SEXBOY ",everyone looked at me and shut up.we then knew that was our name.i scribbled the name on a white t-shirt i was wearing ,crossed it out(like a girl gang covered our graffitti),and hit the stage.and history was made,for us at least.lots of live recordings,full band demo,videos,flyers,recordings of every line-up that existed,lots of early live stuff in my garage with vance as we worked out the set list.opened for lots of bands coming thru town,like the thumbs,bony fiend,more than that and lots of gigs with other locals.vance and broph always wanted me to play guitar too,but i did that in almost all my other bands ,and i just wanted to be the singer for once instead of multi tasking.jay our guitarist,came by way of the metal scene,and kinda fucked up my original style to a more metally style,which i think was a detriment,there was talk of getting little paul to replace him but he was too busy working.i think me vance and brophy all had our moments with him,but we made it thru.towards the end me and jay did a country style version called HICKBOY,and played a live set with the band once even.lots of coulda been hits here and if you have even a passing interest in punk or even rock just download this .i found SEXBOYwas one of the most searched labels on this blog.if you google it you'll get a bunch of nasty stuff that we don't have anything to do with,and we did cover the germs sexboy,and maybe now when you google sexboy you'll get this post that'll be cool.anyway lots more to come from this band,so stay tuned for that.below you can view a video of one of our most known songs,"ricky ricardo"live at the world famous draft house.
