I think summer is here, it was pretty hot today. We had our car show in Lewiston today. We have it Father's Day weekend every year. Most of the years we have worked the show. This year we decided not to. My husband wanted to spend time with his father, who is in his 80's. So he was at the show but didn't work it. My daughter did work the show. She did 50/50 tickets. I got to spend time with my granddaughter and watch there two dogs. I enjoyed every bit of it.
I took a vacation week this week. I'm not going any where. I thought I'd do some extra cleaning and also some crocheting and send out some boxes.
Well I guess I should call it a night.

Wow it's been a long time since I blogged
Hello everybody. It has been so long since I blogged. I bet you all thought I ran away lol.
I have been in an organizing mood. I have cleaned out my daughter's old room and it is now just a guest room. I put all my crocheting supplies and magazines etc... in my office room. I cleaned out my closet in the office room and I have put all of my yarn etc.. in there.
I have made 2 pairs of slippers, a
hat, almost done with a pair of mittens ( I'm trying a new pattern). I found this pattern in a crochet book called funky chunky crocheted accessories by Jan Eaton. I really like the patterns in it. Here are some pictures of what I have made from the book.
Also I have been working on the squares for the calendar ghan CAL. I have made 3 of the squares and am having a hard time with I think it is March's square. But I will get it. The square I did last night wasn't as big as the others though. Do you think I should add an extra row? I would be the one that looks blue.
Also I have been wondering if anybody out there has a pattern or can tell me how to go about making a infant/toddler belt. My little granddaughter just turned one on May 30. She has a tiny waist. So needless to say some of the pants don't want to stay up. I thought it would be fun to make her a belt. But I can't find any patterns on line for little ones.
Well I think it's time to crochet some more. Tomorrow I have off work. Have a pressing appointment(mammogram) in the morning. After that the day is mine.
