New Year

HAPPY NEW YEAR... I hope you all have a great one. I know 2012 has brought a lot of terrible things to many. I hope that 2013 is much better. I am going to try to use up all this yarn I have laying around this coming year. How about you? Do you have a resolution? I'm trying not to make mine to hard. I do want to lose weigh but I don't want to make that a resolution, because I have done that before and didn't stick to it. I do have some pictures I want to put on here. I will put them up tomorrow. Christmas

Merry Christmas to all of you from all of us here. We have had a great day. It's quiet here now. But at 5 am it was awesome. My granddaughter got up and we got to watch her open gifts. The picture below is of my granddaughter being so excited to give her mom the gift she got for her.

I was going to load another image on here but for some reason it is not letting me. I wanted to share this story with you. My granddaughter has watch the commercial for the slippers that the ears flap when you walk. Well she ask me if I could crochet her some of them. I said I would but there"s no way I could get the ears to flap. I thought that was so cute.

winter wonderland

Wow, did we get the snow. Tuesday I had off work and was doing dishes, looking out the window and thinking to myself that we may not have a white Christmas this year. The grass was showing and of course the leaves were on the ground, I thought about raking, but of course changed my mind. Then Wednesday they were saying that a snow storm was coming in. Normally we would of had snow by now, Well they weren't kidding. At 7 am Thursday the snow started and didn't end until Friday. We got 15 inches of heavy snow within that time. Some people are still without power. Luckily we didn't loose power. Here are a few pictures of the snow. It is beautiful though.

My husband has been doing a lot of snow blowing bless his heart, he is wonderful. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas. )

hi its me

I haven't been on here in quite awhile. I should rephrase that. I haven't blogged in awhile. Ive had issues with Internet and I'm still trying to figure out this kindle fire. I have been crocheting scarves with that sashayed yarn. I also have been making earflap hats. I have been trying to roll up yarn from projects that I just haven't finished. today we will be putting up our Christmas tree. My daughter bought a real small one to put in here daughters room. This will be the first year we will have 2 trees. I have some pictures to put on here but I have to figure out how to get pictures on this kindle fire. Hubby is getting me a new laptop for Christmas.It is in lawaway right now. Well I should get busy getting the house straightened up so that we can complete our plans. I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving we did here. TAKE CARE talk to you all soon.

Wow, It's been a while since I blogged. It is different. I don't know where to go to add a blog spot that I like. Well weather has been pretty strange. Very hot for a few days now it is very cool outside.
Been crocheting a lot of different projects and not finishing any. Shame on me. I'm going to have to try to make a plan and work on one thing at a time. I'm thinking that is going to be hard for me. I read other blogs and see all the nice things that are being made and the patterns and I want to start them all....

Happy Easter

Hope all of you have a Happy Easter tomorrow. We are just about ready to color some eggs. We have to color them earlier today since I have to be at work at 2:30 and I don't get off work until 9:00 tonight. But that's ok. I'm very happy that my daughter and granddaughter are going to stay the night and we will get to see what the bunny brings tomorrow.
The weather here has been so nice. I have this week coming up off work, taking a week of my vacation. Going to try to get some stuff done around here. I think I should make a list of things to get done. I can just see me now, starting tons of things and not finishing anything.

long time

It's been a long time since I blogged last. I even had to update my password to be able to blog. I have been checking blogs regularly though.
I have started so many projects. I did finish one, I made a bathmit for my granddaughter. I forgot to take a picture of it before she used it. So once I wash it I will take a picture. I have started another sunnyspread blanket and a sock monkey blanket and been crocheting dishclothes, so I have been busy. I also have some hats to send to bridge and beyond I just have to get the few bucks up to send them.
Well off  to do some house work. Hope everybody has a great day.
