Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all of my blogger friends that celebrate Christmas. We just did our Christmas tonight. My daughter and granddaughter came over for dinner and we opened gifts from each other.
They just left to go home and get ready for Santa. Our granddaughter was so excited when she opened the gift we got her. It was a Jesse doll from Toy Story. It had a pull string in the back and she talked. Her face was priceless.
Sorry I haven't been blogging very much. There has been a lot going on. I sure am hoping to get better at blogging regularly.  I'm sort of afraid I have lost my blogger friends.
I have been making hats. I do have some to send to Bridge and Beyond. I also got a request to make some of the mountain man hats. I made one for a friend's daughter and now her other kids want one. I will work on them tomorrow. I have to make 2 of them. I go online and find patterns and save them in hopes that I will make them soon. Well I have tons of them, (ok maybe that is a little exaggerating) but I do have quite a bit.
Well I'm going to end here and check out some of the blogs.

vacation

Well vacation is half way over. It was going pretty good until this morning, when our dog decided to get skunked. One good part to it was he only got skunked on his face. But the house smells. I have done so much cleaning. I've bleached and I've use dawn dishsoap, my husband even pulled the carpet out of the living room. What a way to get new carpet :) The worst area is the by the back door where the dog came in. Any suggestions to get the smell out of the house. I did wash the dog.
Well I thought this posted last night. But it didn't. We rewashed the dog with baking soda, peroxide and dawn dishsoap mix, and I used dawn dish soap to clean the back door area and it's not to bad this morning. I'm going to finish washing all the lower cupboard today and rebath Rosco.

Camera

Guess what, I found my camera. Of course I bought one last weekend. Today I was cleaning and vaccuming and I vaccumed behind the chair and I caught a string. Well it was the strap to my camera. It was under the chair. So I think I will give the camera to my daughter, since she can't find her's.. I guess the saying goes, "the apple doesn't fall to far from the tree" lol.... So now I have no excuse not to take pictures. It is so much better to take pictures with your own camera. My neighbor was so nice to loan me her's though.
I just wanted to share my excitement for today. Now I'm going to crochet a bit before I call it a night.

I have been thinking alot about all the people that maybe affected by the hurricane, I have been praying that you all will be safe.

I had a great time yesterday with daughter and granddaughter.  I got some netting to make more scrubbies. I love using them. I'm hoping this time though that I cut the fabric right.  The last time when I cut it I ended up with short strips, which of course made more knots to weave in at        the end :( 

Here is a question for you all not about crocheting though. We got some garden vegetables from a friend of ours and the cucumbers were yellow orangy color with a little green. Are they good. I'll take a picture  of them.

long time

Fall is almost here. Leaves are changing some already. I love my sweatshirts and all the fall colors.
 Went to the circus with my hubby and granddaughter Emma on Sunday. It was alot of fun. Emma rode the pony and the elephant. She liked it.

As for Crocheting, I am still working on the sunny spread blanket. I am starting to put it together now. I took a picture of the squares I did, but I haven't uploaded them to the computer yet.  I also have made a scrubbie, a few hats and a preemie sweater (which I have to put the buttons on).   Well I better get myself moving. I am going to spend the day with my daughter and granddaughter. We are going to hobby lobby and to walmart.

Wednesday

Here it is the middle of the week, boy that went fast, I think it could of been because of the long weekend, right. I hope everybody had a great weekend.
This morning I've been playing on the computer, reading blogs, playing games, thinking about what I should do today and not really wanting to do anything. I do know that I have to go to the dentist today at 4. I'm really not a fan of dentist. But it's time to get there.
I finally sent a box to Bridge and Beyond. I had been working on washcloths, they were alot of fun, fast and easy. I'm now working on a blanket called the sunny spread. I was going thru blogs one day and I read a blog called plus3crochet.blogger.com she had made a baby blanket with the sunny spread pattern in the neatest colors. Here is the link to the pattern sunny spread .  I thought that was so cool that I decided that I wanted to make one. I have quite a few squares done so far. I love doing those squares it is alot of fun.  I will take some pictures of it. My camera is missing but I can takes pictures with my cell. There not always the best but will do for now.

scrubbie yarn?

I have a question for whoever may no the answer. Is there a yarn out there that is for making scrubbies?
I went to our car show this past weekend. They had a small craft area there. One of the craft tables had some very nice crochet items, one of the items I liked was the scrubbies. I bought one. She said she got the yarn for it from Joann fabrics. I don't live close to a JoAnn fabrics so I was looking on line. I didn't see any yarn that looks like the yarn you'd use. Please if anybody is out and about and stops into a JoAnn Fabrics will you please look for me. Some info on how to get it would be great also. I really like the one I bought.
I also have been to the ravelry site. I was looking at alot of the patterns, they are really neat.
Well I'm going to end here and get my crochet ready and something to drink, The Voice is coming on soon. I really like that show.

Good morning

Good morning everyone. I am still here. May is just about over. Time sure does fly by. Yesterday we celebrated my youngest granddaughters birthday. She will be 3 years old Tomorrow. It was a lot of fun. The weather was ok. It sprinkled then stopped then rained then stopped. It was a good thing my daughter had a garage.
I finally downloaded some of the projects that I have been working on. I still have to finish some of them. Just little things.

This is a baby blanket I made for one of my daughters friends. My daughter picked the pattern out of the Big Book of Crochet. The picture on the right and below it is patterns I found at www.tangledhappy@blogger.com They each need a few things done to them. The last picture is a dog sweater that I tried to make for my daughter's dog. I was having a hard time making it to fit. I didn't have the dog over here to try it on her. The pattern is great though. I found the pattern at www.crochetnmore.blogger.com.

I am working on another blanket. I will take some pictures of it soon. I hope everybody has a wonderful Memorial Day.

April

Well here it is April, of course not spring yet here. Yesterday we had snow, sleet, hail and thunder and lightning. I guess Mother Nature couldn't make up her mind. This morning when I went out to go to work the snow was wet and heavy, I thought man what a neat snowman this would make, but no time.
I've been trying to feel better. I have a sinus infection and an abcest tooth. I am on antibotics. I hate taking medication. I know I work at a pharmacy, but I still hate taking it. :(
I have bowling tonight, I don't really want to go, but I am the secretary/ treasurer so I need to be there. Just think bowling will be over in about 3 weeks yeah!!!! I have fun bowling but it is a long season.
Well I have to run.

Sometimes I just don't know what to blog about. My life is pretty dull. I do the same thing day in and day out. Work come home, play on computer, sometimes crochet, clean house and then bedtime, How exciting is that.
I've read a blog that said she doesn't like to read the same thing over and over, she likes different thing and dosen't like when things are copied. Man it almost sounded like my blog.
I love to read other blogs to get ideas on things to make. I'm not a very talented person when it comes to making my own patterns, I do try to make things for charities, but sometimes I don't have the money to send them. I will eventually.
Where do you guys get all the ideas to blog? I'm really still learning about the blog. Like I see cartoon pictures on blogs, I see neat sayings on blogs, I don't know how to put them on my blog or where do people get them.
Debi, some day we will have to get together when you come to Michigan.
Like today I am watching my beautiful granddaughter, and of course going to clean house. The sun is shining, I should probably go outside, but I probably won't.
I am apoligizing for not having a very exciting blog to read. I'm hoping someday I will, I will keep trying.

Here it is another month. Today was beautiful. It was sunny and warmer than usual. I of course was at work. But I could see it out the window. It was the day where you wish you could travel. I would love to go visit my grandkids, in North Dakato and My son and his family in South Carolina. Then reality hits, the car I drive wouldn't make it and you have to have money to travel. So much for that idea.
I have tomorrow off, which is great. I'm hoping to get a lot accomplished. I just have to stay off facebook and everything will be ok. lol..
My husband is doing so much better. It has been 5 weeks now since his surgery and he can lift his arm up over his head and off to the side and he has a lot of strength in his arm, awesome.
I've been crocheting off and on. I really need to do more crocheting. I love to crochet. Once I pick it up I love doing it. Like I said early in this post I really need to use my time better and not play so much on the computer. I love playing games on here and reading blogs and finding crochet patterns.
Well I'm off to do a little crocheting and then off to bed, Good night all.

Hello bloggers

Here I go again over a month has past since I last blogged. My husband has went thru surgery on his right shoulder (torn rotator cuff) the beginning of this month. He is having a real hard time trying to get comfortable in the evening to sleep. He has been sleeping in the recliner but doesn't sleep all night.
I have been worried about bills and such. He is a sub-contractor. He is going to go to work some tomorrow and Wednesday, he will be the supervisor. He can drive and make sure his helpers are doing what needs done.
I have been working and doing some crocheting. I have pictures to post finally. I will get these mailed out as soon as I can.
I was a beautiful day today. Heard some of the ice drop off the house, scared me.

Good Morning

Wow, the flu sure is going around. One of the girls at work called in today and they ask me if I would close tonight. I'll still work in the Pharmacy my normal hours then up front to close. Boy I sure hope I don't get it. 
I've been crocheting a throw for myself. I've made them for others but not for me, so I decided I would make one. I'm also crocheting more mittens. 
I sure hope this new year gets better. My husband fell going up stairs Sunday. I had to take him to the ER
he couldn't move his right arm by his shoulder.  They said he didn't break or fracture anything, I'm wondering if he did something to his rotater cuff.  I guess will find out more tomorrow when he goes to his follow up appointment.
