A little patriotic project from Cheri using the TCebosser and Xyron!

Hey everyone, In honor of my birthday being last weekend on FLAG DAY I was feeling inspired to create a little something patriotic for our home. I wanted to make something that would sit on our mantel and this turned out to be a great addition, do you like it?

These are the supplies I started with - my ebosser which I also used to cut all of my little white stars and the WOOD GRAIN Folder and (Star folder - I did not end up using the star folder as I had planned), adhesive from Xyron, a craft star shaped box, a wood candle holder that I painted with red glitter paint and finally some red, white and blue paper.

First I embossed my red, white and blue papers using the Wood Grain Folders - I wanted my flag to look like it had movement and this was just PERFECT for this effect. I cut my red and white strips 1/2". My home is very "rustica" so I ended up inking the edges so it would fit in with my decor. Now you can see in this photo I adhered my stripes from the center, using the Xyron Glue stick - truly when adhering to chipboard, you can't go wrong with a good glue stick. I just kept alternating my stripes then trimmed them off when I was done. Then I added the blue on the opposite side.

I loved being able to cut all my stars but to adhere them is easiest when you have a sticker maker, it makes it super quick!!

Here is my finished project, I tied it with a little burlap bow to finish it off.
I hope you enjoyed todays project! ~Cheri

Hi everyone, it's Yvonne.
I'm so excited to share with you one of the projects I did using the Teresa Collins eBosser!

I used one of her folders with some colored tin. The tin needed to be cut to fit the frame.
After that I adhered the tin to a plain black frame and sanded very lightly.
Once sanded it really helped the pattern pop.
I took the scrap piece and decided to cover a giant clothes pin.
It really helped tie the two together for a big statement.
Below is a close up so you can see how well the embossing stays even while smoothing it over the frame.

Hey everyone, Cheri Piles here sharing a little home decor piece as well for the upcoming holidays!

I then embossed all of my papers using the new TCebosser, & 8 1/2" x 11" stars embossing folder. You can watch this video for a tip for your longer sheets of paper. I used velum and it turned out fantastic!!

After I embossed all of my papers I punched 1 1/2" circles from all of my papers for my trees. There are 100's of them but it was so worth it! I purchased some Styrofoam cones, 2 medium and one large. I painted them all in gold to start. I also used sequins (from the Teresa Collins Memorabilla, Family Stories and Santa's List collections) and pearl head pins to attach them.
Start attaching your circles along the bottom of your cone pinning them 1/4" from the top of the circles. Then alternating and overlapping the bottom row and continue pinning them all the way to the top.

When I was completed with the cones I glued them to some wood discs I picked up from the local hardware store and painted them gold to match. I thought they looked better on "stands".

I hope you enjoyed my project, I am getting excited for the holidays!! ~Cheri
