Urban Market Layout by Christie Bryant

Hello friends! I hope that you're enjoying your week.
Today I'm sharing a layout using the Teresa Collins "Urban Market" line. This line is so elegant and fun to use.

I used the Urban Market "Cards" and "Collage" papers to cut out the word "Happy" for my title and the cute camera for an embellishment.

I also added some Urban Market Tape for a little something extra.

Thank you for stopping by the Teresa Collins Design Team blog today! We're so glad you're here.

XOXO,

Christie

Happy @ 9 layout by Stacey Michaud using the new Urban Market collection

I have a son so I am always looking for a good masculine collection!  I found perfection with the Urban Market collection. There are wonderful patterns and muted colors that are perfect for all sorts of themes!  I adore the navy and gray, making that a big pop on my newest page.

I decided to make the tags really stand out on this page.  I grouped three tag together, being sure to vary the color and patterns.  I like how it gives my photos and words a place to land.  I placed the biggest photo on the dark tag, knowing I wanted the eye to start there.

I did some simple layering by using two elements from the Ephemera package.  I also added some texture and dimension with the Recorded Wood Veneer piece.  I feel that every page should have some hard element like metal or wood.

I cut the Happy word from a sheet of paper with journaling cards.  There is so much you can create with sheets of paper!  The alphabet and numbers block is also from a sheet of paper.  Using small elements of paper allows you to stretch your supplies, add variety and have pop while still keeping the page clean.

Urban Market Glam - Melissa Phillips

The new Urban Market collection is so elegant and classic, filled with trendy elements, glitter, shimmer, and glamour.  It's a favorite of mine and today I've got a couple of projects using this collection to share with you, beginning with this altered paper mache star box.

I covered the outside edges with Urban Market Decorative Tape and then chose glittered patterned paper for the top.  I used die cut feathers and a wood shape to bring in some trendy elements, and then layered chipboard to create my focal point.

A few lovely, large Urban Market silver sequins were added last and as usual, are always a perfect finishing touch.
I had so much fun with this card using the 6x6 Urban Market Paper Pad and die cut tag.  All that is needed with the lovely patterns and colors in this collection are a few finishing touches.

A bit of chipboard stapled down the side and across the front using my Xyron/Teresa Collins stapler, die cut stars cut from Urban Market paper, a brad, and a few enamel dots...so easy to put these products together.

And, last but not least, more Urban Market Decorative Tape across the bottom...what did we ever do before this wonderful, fun stuff?  I love the patterns included in each of Teresa's decorative tape collections...must haves for sure!
Thanks for visiting.

Urban Market layout by Jennifer Haggerty

Hello everyone! Jennifer here and I'm happy to show a layout I created using Teresa's new collection: Urban Market.  I can't tell you how much I LOVE the colors of this line!  The blue is even more gorgeous paired with the grey and black, as well as the silver glitter paper!

Using my die cut machine, I cut out stars from patterned paper as well as my cardstock background.  I added in decorative brads and a few enamel dots as well.
The star shapes cut out from the cardstock I backed with patterned paper.  I love the blue/white paisley print!  Keeping with the star theme, I added the wood star from the Die Cut Wood pack.
Using my Teresa Collins Xyron Stapler, I affixed the star and "Love This" tag from the Ephemera Pack. I find this is a great way to "adhere" your photo overlays!

Here is a glimpse of one of the many 4x6 Photo Overlays that come in the pack!  I love using them as they add so much to your pictures!

I embossed one of the vellum bags from the Basically Essential Media Kit with the Teresa Collins Craftwell Wood Grain embossing folder and my eBosser.  I adhered the bag under one of the Urban Market Tags and some of the patterned papers.

Another shot of my stars along with the "1" Die Cut Wood piece. I chose this because my cute nephew had just turned a year old in this photo!

Thank you for stopping by today!  I hope this inspires you to do some creating of your own!
Have a wonderful day!

Products used:  Urban Market patterned papers, Decorative Brads, Enamel Dots, Die Cut Wood Shapes, Photo Overlay, Ephemera Pack, Tag; Craftwell Wood Grain Embossing Folder and eBosser; Xyron Stapler, Megarunner, and Liquid Adhesive.

Embossed and Embellished Cards Featuring Urban Market by Tessa Wise

Hello!  I've been embossing again with my Teresa Collins eBosser by Craftwell! :)  Today I have two cards to share- both feature embossing and have been embellished with some new goodies from the Urban Market collection:

TERESA COLLINS DESIGNS Just Be You Card 1

I love the look of crisp embossed white cardstock!  I use Bazzill Marshmallow for all of my embossing.  A good, thick cardstock is key- if it isn't thick enough, it can tear or ripple.  I also think smooth cardstock creates a better image.  The image turns out so crisp when you use a smooth cardstock.

I cut a 5.5 x 2.75" panel of white cardstock and embossed it using the Beautiful Words embossing folder.  Cutting out the panel before you emboss means you can place the panel over the words you want to capture when you emboss.  I loved the list of beautiful, fabulous,  and wonderful so I placed the panel over this area of the folder and ran it through my eBosser.

I created a card base out of white cardstock and adhered the embossed panel onto the card 1/2" from the right side.  I then cut two strips of cardstock- one 5.5 x 1/2" and the other 5.5 x 1".  I used thin foam adhesive to add them to either side of the embossed panel.

Next, I embellished the card with some of my favorite new products from the Urban Market collection.  I used the feather and blue tile decorative tapes on the left side first.  Then I added a strip of the glittery Zig patterned paper across the bottom.  I added the fleur de lis from the Urban Market ephemera pack and then added just a few pretty silver sequins.

TERESA COLLINS DESIGNS Just Be You Card 2

The Urban Market collection doesn't have a stamp set so I chose a sentiment from my stash and stamped it onto a vellum die cut label.  To draw your eye to the sentiment (and so I would have something to hide my adhesive under) I added the epoxy bracket to the left of where I stamped.  I added just a bit of the Teresa Collins Clear Hold Adhesive by Xyron underneath it to adhere the vellum to my card.

This next card features a fun embossed quilt background using some of my favorite Teresa Collins embossing folders:

TERESA COLLINS DESIGNS Be Happy Card 1

I started by cutting 6 4.25 x 1.75" strips of white cardstock.  I ran each of them through the eBosser using a different embossing folder.  Once they were embossed, I cut them in half diagonally to make 12 triangles.

Starting at the bottom of the card, I adhered the triangles to a white card base using my Teresa Collins Mega Runner by Xyron.  I was careful to keep the adhesive in the centers of each triangle so I could easily sew over each piece.  Once they were all in place, I sewed around each triangle to create the quilted look.

Once my embossed card base was finished, I added the embellishment cluster to the top of my card.  I started with the blue tiled scallop sticker strip from the Urban Market sticker sheet.  I added a strip of the glittered Zig patterned paper next and then tied a length of twine around the card.  I found the Remember This die cut circle in the Urban Market ephemera pack and embellished it with a blue floral brad from the Urban Market designer brads.  I added it to the card using dimensional foam adhesive.  I created the sentiment from the Urban Market Alpha and Label sticker sheet.  To finish off the look, I sprinkled a few sequins below the cluster.

TERESA COLLINS DESIGNS Be Happy Card 2

The embossing you get with the Teresa Collins eBosser folders by Craftwell is so crisp and perfect!  It automatically gives anything you create a sense of elegance.  I am so happy with how these projects came out- I love the look of embossing on white! :)

Thanks for joining me today!

Pre-made mini file folder album for Mothers Day by Cheri Piles using the new collection Urban Market

I have to say I'm pretty excited for Mothers Day this year! I wanted to have an album ready to go as soon as possible and this new collection will be perfect with my photos I'll be taking. YAY, I'm sooooo Excited!! We are going to spend the day at the ocean, flying kites, brunch, beach combing and maybe some whale watching. Seriously, excited here!!

I wanted to share today how you can create a STUNNING album by creating your embellishments from just this sheet of paper, yes!! This album I created was based around this sheet, it's called "COLLAGE" paper
Here I am showing you how I carefully cut all of them apart, just take your time and cut above and below each design working from the top of the page then work your way right to left using your paper trimmer.

I also used the "Glittered circles" paper and cut the sheet into rows then trimmed them to match my pages heights. For the base of my album I used the "File Folders" so it went together quickly with just a few additions. I added the circles to the edges where I would be putting the binding. This also gives the book a consistent sparkly look!

I love all of the sparkle glitter paper in this collection so I did add one extra page to my book - I cut the "Damask" glitter paper 11x7 and folded it in the center to create the page. Since this book is for ME I really wanted a little more glitter... You can never go wrong with too much glitter, just saying!!

I absolutely love the big foam squares in the Teresa Collins Xyron adhesive kit and here I am showing you what I believe is KEY when creating your own embellishments - use foam squares to give depth and draw the eyes to your pieces.
For a little something different I added a few photo overlays to my book as clear pages, I love LOVE love how this book is going to look with all of my beach pictures!! I created all of my photo mats a 1/4" bigger than what I will print them.

I think this file folder on the right is my most favorite page!! It is sooo pretty with the circles and the "LOVE THIS" that is raised with the foam dots and is overhanging the pages edge. I added a few sequins here and there and the new wood grain sequins were the right touch for this page!

I added another photo overlay where my picture will go, it will be perfect once the photo is in place and "Happiness" is EXACTLY how I feel about this book!!

Here is a close up of the overlay and I am drawing your eye to it with by adding the extra sequin.

I wish all you moms out there a very happy Mothers day coming up and hope your are inspired to create a little mini book to celebrate your day!! This new collection Urban Market was just the right papers and colors to celebrate our little mini trip!

it's SOMETHING WONDERFUL & URBAN MARKET

I am super excited to show you my BRAND NEW MID RELEASE COLLECTION.
I do believe that this yummy line is
SOMETHING WONDERFUL.
The colors are so pretty... colorful
but not too bright.
I just wanted to debut a line
that will make you SMILE...
well, I hope it does.
This is a non-themed line.
You can use it for cards, love, Summer...
well, ANYTHING.

this is URBAN MARKET.
PHOTOS DO NOT DO THIS GORGEOUS LINE JUSTICE.
It is RICH blue... yes, boy or girl...
and the line has THREE gorgeous papers that are
glittered in the CHAMPAGNE color.
The theme is again... ANYTHING.
However, I added lots of LIFE, 365, and
the DAILY story and gratitude in the subtle
message of the collection. I am
so in love with the WOOD sequins, the zebra sequins,
the wood, the chipboard...okay...
I am in LOVE with it all.

A little behind the scenes. I travel and when I do... I
ALWAYS go shopping. Now, I'm not going to the malls
to buy clothes  (well sometimes), but I am
going to go and INSPIRATION shop
for new colors,
new TRENDS...
I am often going to home decor
shops or just simply walking
the city center.

This line was "designed" and inspired
after I came home last year from my
trip to Madrid Spain.

I was at a local restaurant and the walls were
beautiful rich BLUE tiles. I immediately
saw the color all over Spain. I was in love
and KNEW it was the NEXT deep blue color for me.
It is RICH, GORGEOUS and
so pretty.

I thought I would SHARE just a few layouts and projects that I designed today. I am going to be leaving in 5 hours for the airport. Yes, I'm headed to teach at three big amazing events in Portugal, Munich and Frankfurt Germany. PINCH ME... I am so blessed to LOVE what I do. PS- I love you all so much and REALLY can't thank you enough for the kind emails and HUGE support. I just feel
like God is truly lifting me and inspires me through YOU and in ALL that I do. K... see,
I just can't keep the happiness from within.

SOMETHING WONDERFUL
LOVE ONE ANOTHER...
THIS IS THE PAPER, HEART SEQUINS, STICKERS... OH MY...TAGS AND CHIPBOARD
SENTIMENTS... (HEART PUNCH- FISKARS)

yes, there is ZEBRA and alphabet paper and the cute pennants, tags, and the cool film circle...
I loved my VIEW FINDERS and LOVED
this addition to the line.
I love that Gentry took this photo of Zellie...

this is my grandson Tenneson after he was born.
oh my... this line will help you
document life...
look at the cute feather!!! It's chipboard...
I loved the alpha and number
papers so much and used it
as my base.
*note the cute zebra sequins... SWOON!

Did you see this on HSN? Yes, I embossed the white Bazzill cardstock with my honeycomb folder and the
TC eBosser machine.
DREAM BIG- something wonderful.
I loved the dotted chevron paper...tags, and the STAR METALLIC sequin stars.
I love the stickers in this collection too.
The pops of red, black, yellow, pink...they
all work together.

The color is not purple but is a BEAUTIFUL rich BLUE.
Here you can see the gitter paper, the wood and blue sequins,
the WOOD number 5 and THANKFUL- the papers, the chipboard and more...

I am officially in love with all things
CABANA STRIPES.
Yes, I can't get enough of this pattern.
I love the colors and the neutrals combined
in this line (mixed with glitter)...
did you notice the LOVE photo overlay from Urban Market?
Yes, I've been using my handwriting a lot lately
in all my collections.

I am so loving the glittered damask paper.
If you like the WOOD PIECES like I do... well, they just
make a project POP.
The big wood feather, number 23, the STAR and RECORDED...
they make crafting HAPPY.
(TC essentials 12x12 Stencil- Scallops and TC MODELING PASTE)

I am IN LOVE with stars.
I just may need a STAR intervention.
I used my Fiskar punches to punch out hexagon, and stars for this SOMETHING WONDERFUL
DOCUMENTED layout.
I used my herringbone embossing folder and TC ebosser machine on the light craft cardstock.
The rest is decorative tape, chipboard and paper from
the line. Yes, the metallic STARS are my sequins.
Isn't Tenneson a dollbaby?????

This is the project I have been wanting to do for so long.
This is URBAN MARKET-
I used the photo overlays on McKays graduation
photos. This is the papers, the gems, the overlays...
I will post more of this project later too.

well, I love HAPPY fun colors!!!!!
The sequins are pink and mint green...
the enamel dots and shapes...
LOVE....
Can you tell I'm a little HAPPY
how this line turned out?
This M layout is silly Maxson.
The papers, sequins, the dots, the stickers...
I had a lot of fun with this layout.

This is my SILLY son in law- Devan.
I consider him my son in all ways.
I adore him. He's quite the character
and he is so in love with Gentry.
I love him for treating her like a princess.
I had to capture his personality and them together.
NOTE: ICE CASTLES in Winter in Utah... you
have to visit us here and go to this.

This is the beautiful colors and chipboard &
papers with Something Wonderful.
The Story is the actual 12x12 paper that
I trimmed down.

Oh silly Zellie... sorry she won't take normal
photos anymore. If you tell her to smile-
she sticks her finger in her nose or puts her tongue out.
I guess at 2 years old...she
knows how to be silly.

This HAPPY layout with UM is glittered circles
and I put my STICKER circle icons inside the circles with foam pop
up dots (TC Xyron Adhesive kit).
The neutral word paper in UM is a FAVORITE of mine!

I love love love clipboards,
GOLD
and displaying my projects.
This is LOVE THIS-
URBAN MARKET.
The papers, the wood accents, chipboard and more.
I am just in love....

I must go pack...
I hope you love what you see.
I am giving away the collections TODAY on
my facebook page. (tcdesigns)
Please share these collections with all your
crafty and creative friends.

I have some LONG overdue blog posts coming.
THANK YOU for
all that each of you do
