Urdu is written right to left in an Arabic-based script, traditionally in the Nastaliq style, whose sloping lines take more height than Naskh-style lettering.
Check text direction, alignment and any arrows or numbered steps carried over from a left-to-right source.
Many Urdu readers expect Nastaliq. A Naskh-style rendering is readable but can look foreign to them.
Letters such as ٹ, ڈ, ڑ and ے do not exist in Arabic. Check that they appear where Urdu words need them.
