Discovered within a neglected Oriental computer, there are many parts of its strength which are unmeasured, but it has been confirmed that it possesses an unbelievable combat record from its countless battles. Its uniquely shaped "Kikurin" swords, which it acquired due to its combat experience, leave behind eerie tracks of light, and it is said that anything that comes in contact with those tracks will be cut to pieces. Its Special Moves are the tracks of the Kikurin swords (Rinkazan), and concentrating all the energy within the atmosphere and then detonating it (Gaia Reactor). Also, it has acquired "Rinkageki", where it causes those eerie lights to converge all into one point, and using the two Kikurin swords fused together, shoots it at a distant enemy. A rough concept sketch of the design that he drew—a Japanese-style dual-wielding swordsman—was so well-received by As'maria's colleagues that they chose to adopt the design as a new, standalone Digimon species in its own right, rather than merely being Black War Greymon's X-Antibody variant. As such, Gaioumon is the first Digimon designed by As'maria that is not an X-Antibody variant of a pre-existing Digimon, but a distinct new species.
