Digimon Liberator[edit]
In "GODDESS FROM THE ICE AGE", after deleting Kazuki Suzune's EX8-023 Polar Bearmon, Oumi Reina used the effect of her EX8-060 Vamdemon to Jogress Evolve it with her EX8-062 Piemon ACE into EX8-064 Voltobautamon, who was freed of Polar Bearmon's effect as it had evolution cards. With its When Evolving effect, Reina played a Death Meramon from her trash, then unsuspended it by deleting a Meramon through Vamdemon's inherited effect. This in turn allowed her to trash one of Suzune's security cards through Voltobautamon's own effect, then another by attacking.

Digimon World -next 0rder- International Edition[edit]
Voltobautamon is the main antagonist and final boss of the DLC scenario "From the Grudgeful Hand" 「深怨なる手より出ずるもの」 or "From the Malevolent Fist" in English version. He is the titular Grudgeful Hand after creating a body for himself from the data of Piemon's and Vamdemon's bodies, revealing that everything he had done until that point was just so he could figure a way to merge the data in order to do so. He then challenges the player to meet him at Vamdemon's Mansion and fight him for his own amusement.
After being defeated, Tsuzuki Shoma and Noir arrived with Lucemon: Falldown Mode and Beelzebumon to try finishing him off by casting a spell that expels him from reality, but it did nothing to him and he escaped. The scenario is then marked as complete, however, after 10 in-game days have passed, he will send mail to the player, challenging them to a rematch at the same place. It should be noted that Voltobautamon is by far the strongest opponent in the game, more so during the rematch.
As long as the player has defeated him for the first time, they can obtain a Voltobautamon of their own by Jogressing a Piemon and a Vamdemon.

- Voice Actor:
Ohtsuka Akio (story), Nemoto Cota (Partner Kemonogami)
Voltobautamon is the Partner Kemonogami of Shinonome Kaito. When Kaito was driven insane by Miu's death and Renamon's betrayal in the Harmonious Route, Kaito encounters a dying Piemon, who claims offer him the power to take revenge against a world without Miu. Kaito, in a fit of murderous insanity, accepts the offer and lets Dracumon evolve into Vamdemon and absorb Piemon, turning him into Voltobautamon, an overwhelmingly powerful Kemonogami that Kaito uses to destroy both worlds out of revenge. Takuma tries to stop him, but to no avail, and Kaito goes to the shrine alone to confront the Master. When the party reaches him, he already went to the depths of the shrine, having been killed countless Kenzoku in his way with Voltobautamon.
Takuma and co. manages to defeat Kaito and snap him out of his madness, but doing so results in Dracumon's consciousness within Voltobautamon being completely eradicated and replaced by Piemon's consciousness. The deranged Kemonogami has calculated for this to happen and is merely using Kaito for his own ends. Piemon as Voltobautamon then kills Kaito, Miyuki and the professor in one fell swoop, before going to confront the Master himself. He briefly fights the Master before letting himself get absorbed on purpose. Having been weakened by the party, Piemon-Voltobautamon manages to eradicate the Master's consciousness as well and becomes Voltobautamon (Fusion), who declares that he will be eradicating both the human and Kemonogami worlds as revenge for Kaito and his mistreatment in the hands of the Master. Takuma rebukes Piemon, telling him that he no longer represents Kaito's will nor is he Kaito's partner, and must be stopped. Throughout the battle, Piemon's sanity deteriorates, and Takuma and the remaining survivors manage to defeat and slay Voltobautamon (Fusion). Moments before his death, Piemon briefly reverts into his Voltobautamon form and goes on an insane diatribe before perishing for real.
After clearing the Harmony Route, he can use it freely in any other route.
Voltobautamon is also a playable Kemonogami which can be obtained as both a Partner and a Free Kemonogami. It's an All Rounder-type, Wrathful (Virus)-attribute, Ultimate-level Kemonogami. Its unnamed Attack is Quarzione (225 power, 0 SP, magic, deals Dark damage to target) and its special attack is Palazzi Valzer (350 power, 60 SP, deals Dark damage to targets in a cross-shaped area of effect with a moderate chance of raising its PHYS ATK and SP ATK two ranks). Its Passive Skill is Ala di Pollo (Low chance of damaging the opponent first when attacked, nullifying that attack). Voltobautamon's evolutions differ depending on whether it is the Partner Voltobautamon or a Free Voltobautamon:
- Partner Voltobautamon evolves from Vamdemon. Only in the story he uses Piemon's voice; when used by the player, he uses Dracumon's voice.
- Free Voltobautamon evolves from Vamdemon, Marin Devimon and Archnemon.
