When Athena finds out he's been doing it on purpose (for a good cause), he leaves London, making them both miserable. Eventually, Persephone helps Athena realize the man she's been looking for all season is Harry, and Adam gives his blessing (and financial help) after realizing Harry loves her too. HEA!...more

William Halstead was in a riding accident two years earlier and his knee and leg were permanently damaged. He's completely withdrawn from society, until Juliet challenges him to see what's good instead of what's bad. The two finally get their HEA, with several complications and set backs along the way. Plausible, with only a few questionable Regency era missteps.

When their oldest daughter Hannah is 7, she gives the jar to a woman sitting on the curb outside the bank and starts the tradition of giving it away on Christmas Eve. Hannah is now 32 and they've been doing it ever since. Hope comes to love the family, but she's come to them under false pretenses. When the truth comes out, she can't face them until Adam unexpectedly dies just before Christmas. Hope finally writes the story on Christmas Eve - that night a line of people deliver jars to the Maxwells - former recipients of jars themselves. The last to come is the woman first given it - and turns out to be Hope's mother - Lauren - reuniting the two. Good story, great tradition to start....more

Events conspire to throw the two together and no matter how much they deny their "coupleness" everyone is convinced they're in love. Eventually they are, but only after several miscues, discovering Bertie has an inoperable brain tumor and sorting out John Flynn's sister's love life. Humorous romance, reasonably well done....more
