I really enjoyed this and wanted more...novella could have been fleshed out even more. I loved how Jody was unapologetically gay; he had to stand up to his brother and had no shame in servicing guys at the glory hole. Ryker also tugged at my heart strings...he was a big tough guy with a heart of gold.

I jumped into this series on book #3, since I wanted the M/M story. It's a fairly substantial book with over 400 pages and I won't lie that the beginning had me a little worried. It was hard to like Casey as he was so focused on his goal and didn't really care about anything else.
What really hooked me is the way Dima and Casey's chemistry blows up and develops into so much more. I was really stumped on how Casey would achieve his dream of becoming a vampire but still get a HEA with Dima. It truly seemed impossible...so glad I was wrong....more

I'm so happy that Bertram and Sorin finally got their HEA...it took a looong time but was well deserved. I also appreciate the fact that Sorin's PTSD doesn't just magically go away. Poor Danny is a failed author working the graveyard shift at a convenience store. His life changes when Si comes in to help him after he's fallen down. This very short story is quite quirky and I liked the physical descriptions of Danny's pudgy glory. Both of their lives are not ideal and they find a connection between them that is irresistible. I didn't see the twist coming and I wanted more details at the ending...
