Cory's coming of age and power. She's unknowingly immersed in a paranormal world she had no idea existed around her. She falls in love with vampire Adrian and Green is there too with his special gifts.
The story in itself is very rich in characters but I wanted more "smexy". It also dragged a little in the middle. The conclusion was heart-wrenching...I'll for sure keep reading....more

I did enjoy the relationship that develops between those three. An epilogue would have been nice to see what becomes of them and if they stick together long term....more

It's start with Ben's high school infatuation with Tim. Their short-lived relationship was doomed to fail since Tim had some growing up to do and some realities to face.
Ben eventually moves on but life has a funny way of bringing you right back to the beginning even if you're kicking and screaming the whole way.

This sweet story started out great. I really liked Craig and could relate to his loneliness. He's 17 and spending his summer before his senior year alone since he doesn't really have any friends.
When Jason moves in next door a friendship is quickly established. These guys are really good together and the relationship turns into first love.
I won't spoil the rest of the story, but as it progressed, it lost a bit of magic. I wanted a bit more connection to the characters and the dialogue was a bit choppy....more

This book took me for a loop...it wasn't at all what I was expecting. First I thought it was going to be erotica and boy was I wrong. Carmine is 17 and in high school and Haven doesn't go to school because she is a slave. It was more like a YA story with some dark mafia twists. Still pretty good but I found some parts dragged a little (the book was quite long at over 500 pages). There is a lot of emotional stuff happening and lots is still left unresolved. I think there is a sequel, still not sure if I'll read it....more

It took me a while to get into the story and get over my prejudice about high school romances. But it was worth it. Clay is dealing with mental health problems that would cripple any adult. The love that grows between him and Maggie is quite touching. Can't wait to keep reading this series....more
