I am somewhat frustrated by the lack of free educational resources such as webinars, master classes, or workshops focused on the AI-enabled features of the platform. Additionally, I would appreciate more transparency and explainability regarding how the AI-powered tools were created, which would help users understand and leverage them more effectively. I find it very easy to use. I like its visual appearance, and it allows me to work efficiently. It is easy to find terms from databases and content from the translation memory. Sometimes, it is necessary to go back and make changes to a completed file, especially when working with partial deliveries. I would like to have the option to reverse the action of completing a file in order to modify whatever needs to be modified. I understand that this has to do with assigned roles. One key feature I miss is the ability to work with multiple source languages in a single project. For teams handling regional variations or pivot translations, this limitation adds unnecessary workaround steps. Additionally, when working with SRT files in the editor, I’d love to see a more media-aware layout—ideally with three distinct columns: timestamp, source, and target. Since it's on the cloud, Phrase allows me to upload an easily exported XLIFF file from Paligo (our documentation tool) and then our remote-working translator can log in independently and filter it by Unconfirmed to show only the new or changed segments. When he is finished, I can import the new segments back into Paligo and we are done!

This reduces wasted time and resources on duplicate or tracking translations.

I love the translation memory, that shows MT and 99% matching for accuracy with previous phrases from our documentation.

The system is easy to use. Just spend a little time and you can start to work with this great online CAT. The local editor can be used on all major platforms. Unlike most other CAT that only support Windows, this attracts more Mac translators to use the tool. Fast response customer support is another advantage for Memsource. Hope the subscription can be more flexible. During the one-year subscription, sometimes we may have a short-term (less than 3 months) project that needs many linguists so one additional PM account is needed. But the additional PM account cannot be subscripted for 2 or 3 months, it has to be subscripted till the end of your one-year subscription. This increases a lot of our cost. Phrase really helps us to localise our product, a digital platform, for every new country we dive into. In our business sector it is really important to be able to offer the platform at least in one of the native languages so the value of our product can be really felt, seen, measured and used. For beginners, Phrase can be seen as quite complex, and you can easily do the wrong things. Also, adding screenshots to accompany the translation keys' meta data, even in more easier way, could provide some good information about what that key is actually representing. As a freelancer, I enjoy working with Phrase more than Trados. For a start, I don't have to set up projects - I can start working immediately. There are three features of Phrase that I find particularly useful: 1. The 'More Languages' feature, which helps me use other linguists' translations for reference; 2. The 'Context note' feature, where project managers attach screenshots for reference; 3. The ability to apply multiple filters at the same time (unlike Trados).

I also like that the Analysis report shows the net word count, and the character count shows both source and target character counts (unlike Trados, which shows only the target character count). It is also very easy to exclude repetitions from propagation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best feature for me is the possibility of working in the cloud, which allows me to monitor the development of jobs from different professionals working on the same project, and allows me to introduce changes and solve issues in the spot.

I also love how easy it is to set up a project and create the jobs. The steps are clarly defined and doesn't let for forget anything.

I also like how much information there's available in the help center and that Phrase actally listens to its users and implement changes based on their suggestions, which is great.
