What do you like best about TriNet?

We are a small company (under 20 employees) and TriNet saves us time and money (costs less that 1 FTE employee in HR). Of all the software programs I have used over the past 25+ years, TriNet has been the easiest and smoothest implementation and transition. I have used their customer support features often and they have always resolved my issues. Another plus is the wide variety of benefits that employees can choose from. What do you dislike about TriNet?

The website could have an easier flow with all options available in a single drop down. On features I rarely use, I sometimes forget which menu (or which dashboard feature) houses the option. The only other part of the platform that needs some work is the Applicant Tracking System. Hopefully AI will enhance and smooth out this module in the future. What do you like best about TriNet?

What I appreciate most is that the interface is very user-friendly, making it easy for new clients and employees alike to become familiar with the Trinet Webportal. Additionally, TriNet provides a broad selection of comprehensive benefits, which has been especially effective for our small to mid-sized company. We have used Trinet for over a decade, starting with about 30 employees and now growing to nearly 300. Their customer service is also excellent, as you are assigned both a dedicated client success representative and an HR professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?

What I dislike is that while TriNet offers services that are extremely valuable for a mid-sized company like ours, their pricing is on the higher end. However, I do feel that the breadth of their HR and accounting services justifies the cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TriNet?

The best thing about TriNet is that it takes a lot of the heavy lifting out of HR administration. Payroll, benefits, and compliance are all in one place, which makes processes much smoother and helps keep things organized. What do you dislike about TriNet?

What I dislike is that TriNet can feel very rigid. Processes often need to be done the “TriNet way,” which doesn’t always leave room for flexibility or adapting to how a company prefers to operate. What do you like best about TriNet?

Customer service is super responsive and has been great to work with. Their platforms overall are easy to navigate and we have the features we need to manage all things for our employees. We don't have enough full time employees to meet their threshold for medical benefits, but they put us in touch with a third party who has been great to work with. Also, the saleswoman (Allison Irwin) we worked with when deciding on a PEO was absolutely phenomenal and has continued to check in to ensure we're being taken care of. What do you dislike about TriNet?

Their time tracking platform and payroll platforms are separated, so while not a huge deal to download a report from one and upload it to the other, a seamless experience is preferred. What do you like best about TriNet?

While we were not in the market for a new platform, being forced to do so required us to evaluate our options quickly. The Trinet sales team provided everything we needed to make fully informed decisions that produced savings for the company and our employees.

During implementation, our consultant Tylor was so lovely, quick to respond, and took care of us with each question and set along the way.

After implementation, I have found a few things we missed in the beginning and have easily received the support we need from our assigned account contact. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for Basic Payroll, But Customer Service Needs Major Improvement"
What do you like best about TriNet?

If your payroll needs are straightforward, with no adjustments or leave management required, and you are looking for strong benefits negotiation, they are a decent choice. Their Applicant Tracking System has been improved over the years, so it measures up to others out there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?

The customer service is very disappointing, as it often takes days or even weeks to get a response. This is especially problematic for payroll questions, which really shouldn't take that long to address. Some teams never reply at all, and the only way to reach out is through a generic email address, which makes it even more frustrating. In particular, the Leave of Absence group is a major concern—they consistently fail to respond promptly, leaving employees without answers or updates about their leave status or return-to-work dates. 1) It does not integrate with Mesh payments (for employee reimbursements); Expense reimbursement can only be managed in TriNet.

2) Does not integrate with HiBob (hr platform), so our US employees need to report the usage of PTO on both Trinet and Hibob

What do you like best about TriNet?

TriNet streamlines and facilitates assistance and information. I love how committed TriNet is to expanding the knowledge and awareness of HR Personnel. The ease in finding answers to questions is great. If you can't find what you are looking for in their awesome website you can call your representative. Our representative is ALWAYS quick to answer questions and return calls and emails. This relationship takes a lot of the stress out of not knowing the answer or how to proceed on an issue out of the equation. Once you receive an answer it is easy to implement the issues that arise. I use TriNet and the Wing on a daily basis. Due to the ease of obtaining information the integration is an easy thing to accomplish. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?
