 Now that the holidays are over and the New Year has begun, I see a perfect opportunity to love my body again. I have begun to reset my body and have chosen to follow healthy habits. I know that eating less sugar and more nutritious food will keep my body from catching a cold or worse yet something like the flu or covid.

Fruit is the perfect healthy snack for summer. It is loaded with plenty of fiber and nutrition. Fruit also has plenty of water in it, so it refreshes you as you eat it. Some of my favorite fruits that I am snacking on right now are apricots, cherries, and honeydew melon.

How to introduce Easy Greens to your child

Dr. Bronner's GIY All-Purpose Cleaning Spray

Ingredients

1 quart (1 L) water

¼ cup (60 ml) Pure-Castile Liquid Soap OR 1 tablespoon (15 ml) Sal Suds Cleaner

20 drops tea tree essential oil (optional)

Fill a spray bottle with the water first. (The order is important here because if you put the water in second, you’ll get an overflow of bubbles. It’s messy.) Add the Pure-Castile Soap or Sal Suds and the tea tree essential oil if desired. Swirl gently to mix. Spray surfaces and wipe with a damp cloth. Alternatively, spray a damp cloth and wipe surfaces. The dampness in the cloth is important because it is this water that the soap will latch on to for rinsing. If you spray and wipe with a dry cloth, you’ll leave soap behind.

  I live in the desert of New Mexico and my yard is a traditional Southwest yard with xeriscaping. I don't have a yard with a grass lawn.
