PBL Reflection

Project-Based Learning Reflection


Class in which you did the project: H English II, Period 3 / H World History II, Period 7

Brief project description: multimedia ww1 project. As a group we woulds decide on what we
wanted to do

Your role for the project: everyone had to agree on what we would do, so everyone had to do the
same thing. Everyone had an equal part, if for example we chose to do a painting for the 1st
presentation everyone did their own painting and we would present them together as a group.

What did you do, personally, to contribute to the overall project? Be specific!
I did my own painting but I contributed to the slideshow and poster. I did research for all 3 of
them. I also did journals for my character that I chose.

What did you learn about yourself in terms of time management, personal responsibility,
problem-solving, collaboration, or other soft skills via this project?
I learned that I have really bad time management skills because I always wait and procrastinate
so i do everything at the last minute. I had good collaboration with this project because me and
my friends were all in a group.

If you had an industry expert or mentor who assisted with this project, what are some things that
you learned from this person? We didn't have an identity export or mentor but both of my
teachers helped a lot.

It helped me realize that I need to manage my time better so I don't end up rushing things.
