Home/Accomodation
1. Well, to be honest, I have passion for many types of cuisine and enjoy tasting new dishes so when I’m
at home I usually spend most of my time cooking and baking. As well as that, I often invite my friends
over for dinner and cook much delicious food for them.
2. Well, I love the time that my family spends in the living room the most. In there, we watched TV, ate
fruit and talked about daily activities together which released all the stress after a long day.
3. I haved lived in a small apartment in Hanoi for almost a year when I went here for university. The first
thing I love the most about the apartment is that it is fully equipped with all mod cons which makes me
feel like at home with my family. However, it’s located in the suburb of the city which takes me 20
minutes to go to school and it could be worse in the rush hours.
4. Currently, I’m living and studying in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. Although Hanoi is as known as a
place that has many historical buildings and signature dishes, this city is crowded with traffic and people
are always in a hurry. While my hometown, Ninh Binh city, a peaceful countryside which have many
breathtaking landscapes along with gentle and friendly people.
Actually, I used to stay in my college dorm in Cau Giay District which took me just 10 minutes to get to
school. Now that I’ve moved to a suburb area which is far from my university so it’s a bit difficult for me
in commuting. However, my new accommodation is full equipped and has many amenities like shopping
malls, amusement park… while the dormitory is quite cramped and inconvenient because of living with
many people.
5. Actually, if I have to choose where to live between Hanoi and my hometown, I will choose Hanoi. Since
I’ve planned to live in Hanoi for a long time because I’m studying at university here and Hanoi is a
modern city which will be helpful for my future occupation/ job opportunities.
6. After graduating from high school, I had a period of homeschooling due to the covid 19 pandemic so
up to now I’ve lived here for almost a year. Although I’m still not very familiar with new place, I like
experiencing things with my friends when I have free time.
7. I really like my bedroom due to its privacy. In my comfort zone, I can relieve all the stress after a whole
day of studying without being disturbed by others. Moreover, I like being alone in my bedroom and
chilling out with music or somethings so my own room is a ideal place to do it.
8. Well, as for my apartment, it’s about 40 square meters with a living room and one bedroom but cozy
and has fully equipped. On top of that, there is also a balcony where I can enjoy the peaceful views of
the residential area and plant some lovely trees.
9. Actually, although my current apartment fully meets my living needs, if I had to choose again, I would
prefer to live in a house. That is because home will have more living space which makes me feel cozy and
all family members can connect with each other. What’s more, I can decorate my own house layout and
decorate it according to my taste.
10. As you can guess, though my home is located in suburb of the city, it’s accessible by many bus lines.
But the most convenient way is by motorbikes or cars because it takes less longer to move than others.
11. Since I was a kid, I’ve wanted to have a dream house which is full of sunbeam with a large garden
planted lots of veggies and flowers and round swimming pool for summer. Also, I will raise a dog and a
cat because when I feel sad they can keep company with me.
1. Work/Study
1. Currently, I am a second year student of the University of Economic and Business, majoring in finance
and banking. Honestly, it was not my choice since I was told to study in here by my mother because she
said that I may get a well-paid job after graduation.
2. Actually, I’m not so into Finance and Banking that much. But as far as I know this major is more
popular than others since it can guarantee for many students’ future job opportunities.
3.
4. If I had chance to choose a major that I love one more time, I woundn’t choose Finance and Banking.
Although it provided knowledge about the economy, professional field to develop many skills like
analytical thinking, decision-making skills,…, it still don’t like it because I have to learn with maths,
numbers which I’m not good at these things.
5. Well, to be honest, I prefer studying in the morning though getting up early is a bit difficult for me. But
morning is the time when you have the best mood so it will be easier to acquire knowledge of the
lesson. On the other side, I think studying in the afternoon will waste half a day doing nothing.
6. Actually, since I was a child, I’ve had a talent for painting so I always dream of being a digital designer.
If I work as a designer, I will be armed with design skill set and use my handy creative ability in a huge
number of jobs in the digital design industry
7. After a period of nearly 2 years, I feel more familiar with my subject. The thing that I love the most is
that I have chance to improve my expertise of economics and exposure to calculation and numbers.
8.
9. As you can guess, I’m a student of a economics university so I’m taking course in Corporate finance,
internation finance and economic monetary banking. I found these subjects are complicated because I
had to study them in English which I still bad at vocabulary.
