1. Drill: “Tongue Twister”
Learners’ Task: Altogether, recite the tongue twister that follows.

What to do?
Teacher’s Task: Calls one learner at a time to choose a door. (Teacher may use
random name selector)
Leaners’ Task: Manipulate the computer by clicking your desired door to reveal the
activity.
3. Motivation: “Write A-Thon”
What to do?
Show board, writing pen, timer, slide deck
Teacher’s Task: Facilitates the giving of tasks thru PowerPoint Slide Deck and
presentation or gadget, internet connectivity
checks the correctness of the answers.
Leaners’ Task: In a small group, do the following tasks. Use the show board and
writing pen provided for your answers. Read your answer.
Note: You will be given 20 seconds thinking time before the teacher gives the
“go” signal to show your answer.
1. Write a scientific term/word that starts with the letter “A”.
Possible answers: Astronaut, Astronomer, Atom, Apocalypse, Acid, Acceleration, Algae,
Atmosphere…
2. Write a word synonymous to calamity that begins with the letter “D”.

3. Write a 1-syllable word that ends with the letters “VE”.

4. Write a 6 letter-word that ends with the letters “RB”.
Possible answers: Absorb, Suburb, Superb,Adsorb, Reverb, Uncurb, Cherub, Hubbub, Scrawb
