the big penguin

Before head and body of the big penguin are crocheted, the bottom is crocheted first. The bottom of
the base plate can be filled either with granules or with fibrefill. The bottom is important because it not
only closes the body "cleanly", but because the figure gets a stable standing position.

Element of weighing down (bottom), make 2x

The bottom is crocheted with “silver” yarn using the C hook size 2. Once finished crocheting the
bottom, it needs to be stuffed with fiberfill or granulat.

 2nd bottom: don´t fasten off the last stitch – place the first bottom on the second bottom and join
them by crocheting 40sc; fill the hollow space with granulat or fiberfill and finally close the round
with 8 sc – compare the following pictures for further details

Head and body

Body and head are crocheted with the C hook size 2 using exclusively yarn hook size 2,5 – 3,5. Body
and head need to be stuffed firmly as you go.

The little penguin

Before head and body of the little penguin are crocheted, the bottom is crocheted first. The bottom of
the base plate can be filled either with granules or with fibrefill. The bottom is important because it not
only closes the body "cleanly", but because the figure gets a stable standing position.

Element of weighing down (bottom), make 2x

The bottom is crocheted with “silver” yarn using the C hook size 2. Once finished crocheting the
bottom, it needs to be stuffed with fiberfill or granulat.
