Inversions (đảo ngữ)

* Đảo ngữ với các trạng từ chỉ tần suất (thường là trạng từ phủ
định)
Never/ Rarely/ Hardly/ Seldom/ Little/ Ever + trợ động từ + S +
V
(không bao giờ/hiếm khi ai đó làm gì)
Ví dụ:She hardly does her homework = HARDLY does she do her
homework.
* Đảo ngữ với NO và NOT ANY
No/ Not any + N (danh từ) + trợ động từ + S + V
Ví dụ: No expensive shoes shall I buy for you = Not any expensive
shoes shall I buy for you.
*Đảo ngữ với các cụm từ phủ định có “NO”
=> Cụm từ phủ định + trợ động từ + S + V
 At no time: chưa từng bao giờ.
 In no way: không còn cách nào.
 On no condition: tuyệt đối không.
 On no account = For no reasons: không vì bất cứ lý do gì.
 Under/ In no circumstances: trong bất cứ hoàn cảnh nào
cũng không.
 No longer: không còn nữa
 No where: không một nơi nào

(Ngay sau khi/Không bao lâu sau khi … thì…)

So + tính từ/trạng từ + trợ động từ/be + N + that + S + V
(Quá…đến nỗi mà…)
*Đảo ngữ với NOT ONLY… BUT ALSO
Not only + trợ động từ/be + S + V but S also V
(không chỉ… mà còn)
*Đảo ngữ trong tiếng Anh với UNTIL/ TILL
Not until/till + (S+V)/time + trợ động từ + S + V
(Cho đến khi… thì mới…)

Câu điều kiện loại 1: Mệnh đề IF = Should S + V
