Notes for following my patterns:

** crochet wrong side facing outwards.

** Work in spirals. Do not join, slip stitch or turn unless otherwise stated in the pattern.
** Use a stitch marker in the beginning of each round. This will help to mark the first stitch of
every round.
** Alternative for stitch marker: You can use different colored yarn for stitch markers too. Just
place it into the first stitch of every row/round as you go.
** Alternative for magic ring: Make chain 2. Work 6sc in first chain.
** Yarn suggestions: If you can not find the same yarn, you can buy a different brand of yarn.
It must be anti-pilling yarn. Yarn size will depend on your hook size.

EYES
Eyes can be embroidered, but here I'll show you how to draw the eyes.
The first time I did not get a nice eyes.
It took me 5 attempts to draw beautiful eyes.
It is better to paint several pairs of eyes in different sizes, so that later you can choose the
suitable size eye.

Material fabric - cotton, white. I use fabric from old men's white shirts. Also, this fabric can be
bought in a store.

Draw the eyes pencil as shown in picture below.

The size of the eyes is approximately 6,5 x 6,0 mm, the width of the head is 3,0 cm.
Draw with black color pupils:

Draw dark blue colors iris:

Draw the white part of the eye with white color:

Mix dark blue paint with white to get a lighter shade of blue. Toning iris as shown in picture
below:

Make a glare on the eyes white color:

Black paint or a black marker with a thin stamped draw a thin dividing line between the iris
and the white part of the eye.

HAIR
Mark the border of hair growth with a contrasting thread. The border of the forehead is
between the 5th and 6th rows, length – 9-10 stitches. Border on the back of the head - between
the 19th and 20th rows, length – 14-15 stitches.

Take 2-3 m long thread and needle. Embroider hair on two parts of the head as shown in the
photos below.

thread 30 cm long and cut. Crochet 2 strands.
Start with ch10, start in second chain from hook, 2 sl st, sc in each of next 7 sts. Leave the
thread 30 cm long and cut. Crochet 2 strands.
Start with ch12, start in second chain from hook, 2 sl st, sc in each of next 9 sts. Leave the
thread 30 cm long and cut. Crochet 2 strands.

Secure the strands:

Pull the ends of the threads from the bangs through the stitches and bring out anywhere in the
head (where there are gaps around the hair fastening, in that place and pull out the ends of the
hair. This way the bangs will be fixed, and the “bald spots” will be closed). So that the ends of
the bangs do not stick out in different directions, fix them with threads on your face.

Divide the main thread into 2 parts. Crochet in 2 threads. The length of the red thread is about
4.0 meters.
To separate the strands (the way I was taught to do it):
1. Cut a piece of yarn & separate 2 strands (easiest if you pull two out about 2" or 3" from
the end:

2. Hold the strands you're separating between your thumb & forefinger and the rest of the
strands between your ring finger & pinkie of your left hand:

3. Place the end of the floss loosely in your right hand as shown with your forefinger
between the separated strands:

4. Pull your finger down gently to separate the strands. If the end at the bottom tangles (it
will naturally twirl around) don't let go with your left hand unless it's just to move closer to
the point where the strands meet & simply run the fingers of your right hand down it to
straighten & smooth it. Then continue as before.
