What you will need:
• Size 5 Bulky Yarn, Worsted weight White for inside ears (behind
the fabric), and small amount of Brown for nose
• I hook 5.5 MM
• Tapestry needle for weaving in tails
• Fabric of choice I used the 5”x5” squares you can buy from
Hobby Lobby
• Thread and needle for sewing on fabric
Stitches Used:
• Sl St: Slip Stitch - insert hook, pull up loop and through 1st loop
on hook.
• HDC: Half-Double Crochet - YO, insert hook into stitch, YO & pull
up a loop, YO, pull through all 3 loops on hook.
Gauge: (Please check your gauge I crochet kind of tight)
Using “I” hook and HDC with Worsted Weight Yarn
8 stitches to 2 inches
To obtain gauge:
Make a chain a little over 2 inches. Do 1 HDC in 2nd CH from hook
and across. CH1 turn and HDC across until your swatch is a little over
2 inches. Then count how many stitches you have in 2 inches.
Adjust if needed to obtain my gauge above
Notes: Always join with a SL ST to first stitch of round (this means you
will also be working your first stitches of each RND into the same
stitch you joined into).
