Yarn

Materials

Yarn for shaping eyes and eyebrows:

White - color № 4401 «PELICAN» VITA Cotton (50 grams – 330 m, 100% cotton));
Brown - color № 3973 «PELICAN» VITA Cotton (50 grams – 330 m, 100% cotton);

Hook: 2.00 mm and 1.50 mm (or in accordance with the yarn you use)
5 mm safety eyes
Fiberfill for stuffing
Tapestry needle

Crochet abbreviations (United States)

Ch chain
sc single crochet
inc increase (2 single crochets in a single stitch)
dec decrease (single crochet 2 stitches together)
sl st slip stitch
st(s) stitch (es)

BLO back loop only

Notes for following my patterns:

** Work in spirals. Do not join, slip stitch or turn unless otherwise stated in the
pattern.
** Use a stitch marker in the beginning of each round. This will help to mark the first
stitch of every round.
** Alternative for stitch marker: You can use different colored yarn for stitch
markers too. Just place it into the first stitch of every row/round as you go.
** Alternative for magic ring: Make chain 2. Work 6sc in first chain.
** Yarn suggestions: If you can not find the same yarn, you can buy a different brand
of yarn. It must be anti-pilling yarn. Yarn size will depend on your hook size.

Close the Hole:

Using your yarn needle, weave in only on the outer loops of the remaining 6 single crochets.
Weave in from out to in. As you are weaving, do not pull the yarn too tightly. After weaving
the yarn needle through all 6 single crochets, pull the yarn tight to close up the hole, as seen in
the pictures above. See how the hole just amazingly disappeared.

Next, insert the yarn needle through the middle of your work and pull out the yarn from
another random end.
Pull the yarn out from another end and cut off the left over yarn:

Insert the eyes into the holes made in the 12th round, add fiberfill.

Add fiberfill to the head, then add a little fiberfill each round.
Round 18: 1 sc, dec, 4 sc, dec, 2 sc, dec, 3 sc, dec, 2 sc, dec, 4 sc, dec, 8 sc [30]

Do not stuff the head too tightly, the crocheted head already has a shape.
Leave the thread 20 cm long and cut. Close the hole.

Nose (hook 1.50mm)

With dark pink color
Start with ch3
Round 1: start in second chain from hook, 3sc in one ch, 6sc in one ch, turn the work to
continue along the opposite side of the beginning ch, inc, sl st in the first sc [10]
Round 2: ch1, BLO – 10 sc, sl st in the first sc [10]
Leave the thread 25 cm long and cut.

Sew the nose. Below are provided photos of me sewing on the nose.
Pull the end of the thread from the chain through the loops below the eyes to pre-fix the nose,
pull the end of the thread anywhere on the head:

Cut off the ends of the threads at the back of the head:

Eyes design.
Cut 2 pieces of white thread 30 cm long

Insert the needle and thread into the lower part of the eye as shown in the photo below:

Since the eyes are fixed with rubber plugs, it is necessary to apply a little force so that the
needle passes through the plug; I recommend using small pliers or a thimble:

Pull the needle with thread out on the back of the head:

Next, insert the needle and thread into the upper side of the eye, and pull the needle out from
the back of the head.

Take the second cut white thread. Insert the needle with the thread into the bottom of the other
eye as shown in the photo below (pull the needle with the thread out on the back of the head):

point, pull the needle out from the back of the head:

Take the second cut brown thread. Insert the needle with the thread between the loops above
the other eye as shown in the photo below (pull the needle with the thread out on the back of
the head):

Sew the body to the head, capturing the outer part of the head loop and the entire body loop (I
recommend capturing the body loop with a needle from the inside to the outside):

Tail (hook 2.00mm)

With pink color
Start with ch9, start in second chain from hook, 4 sl st, 4 sc, leave the thread 20 cm long and
cut.
Sew on the tail, twist the end of the tail:
