A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-801) .
(2) Do the EIS start procedure (only EWD and SD)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-801) .
(3) On the SWITCHING control panel 135VU, make sure that the SWITCHING/FM
selector switch is in the NORM position.
(4) On the Multipurpose Control & Display Unit (MCDUs) 1, 2 and 3, push the BRT
key to put the MCDU ON.

A. Operational Test of the MCDU 3 Transfer
This test is for system 1. For the other system(s), use the indications between the
parentheses.
ACTION RESULT
1.On the MCDU 1 (2): On the MCDU 1 (2):
· push the F-PLN mode key. · the F-PLN page comes into view.
2.On the MCDU 1 (2): On the MCDU 3, on the MCDU MENU
· Push and hold the DIM key to put the page:
MCDU OFF. · the FM 1 (2) indication comes into view
after 5 seconds.
3.On the MCDU 1 (2): On the MCDU 1 (2):
· the F-PLN page comes into view.

(3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-801) .
