For boys:​Sc around the hat including the brim, ss to join.
Fasten off invisibly.

For girls: ​
Sc around the hat including the brim, ss to join with color B. Now working from left
to right ch 1, sc in the last sc made, * sc in the next sc to the right, repeat from * around the
hat including the brim, join with a yarn needle.
Fasten off invisibly.
