NOTE: This CEB transmits Bendix Service Bulletin GT-196 dated April 28.
1988 for incorporation as directed by Allison.

1. PLANNING INFORMATION

A. Effectivitv:

The following 250-C20 Series Bendix Power Turbine Governors are


eligible for modification.

B. Reason:

This CEB allows conversion of current C20 Series Bendix Power Turbine
Governors to be usable on both C20R Series and C20 Series engines.

C. Approval: Technical aspects are FAA approved.

D. Compliance:

Compliance Code 7. To be complied with per customer option.

E. Prerequisite:

This bulletin lists only those part numbers accept,able for


conversion. Direct modification from the presently configured unit
to the latest configuration may not be possible without incorporation
of additional CEBs.

Bendix Model AL-AA1 Power Turbine Governors, Allied/Bendix Parts List Number
(P/L) 2524667-12 (AGTD 23007505) and Parts List Number 2524769-11 (AGTD
23007506).

Reason:

To provide instructions to convert the subject governors to configurations


usable on Allison 250-CZOR Series Engines and current 250-C20 Series
Engines.

Description:

This bulletin lists parts and specifications required for the following

A. To convert Model AL-AA1 Power Turbine Governors from P/I. 2524667-12
(23007505) to P/L 2549025-l (23036657), and from P/L 2524769-11 (23007506)
to P/L 2549026-I (23006658), disassemble as required for conversion only or
overhaul in accordance with the applicable component mlaintenance manual.

B. Refer to Figure 1 or Figure 2 for the Final Calibration Limits applicable to


power turbine governors being converted in accordance with this bulletin, 8s
