Garcia, relative to the Last Minute Reminders Checklist for field personnel and election workers. The Memorandum of Chairman Garcia reads: “The undersigned respectfully refers to the Honorable Commission En Banc the attached the Last Minute Reminders Checklist for Field Officials and Election Workers for the May 12, 2025 National and Local Elections. Said checklist reiterates and reminds COMELEC Field Personnel and Election Workers of this Commission's general instructions (G)). It also summarizes the provisions of the Gls in layperson’s terms. The undersigned humbly proposes the quick and complete dissemination of said checklist to all our field personnel and concerned election workers to be implemented by the Office of the Deputy Executive Director for Operations and the Law Department. Secure the smart cards and PINs. e. Instruct the voters to FULLY shade the circle opposite the candidates of the voter choice £, Instruct the voters to dry the inlcin the ballot or wait for at least 80 seconds after shading the ballots before proceeding to the ACM for the insertion of ballot g. Incase of error in the feeding of ballot, instruct the voter to insert the ballot in different orientation. 1h. Instruct the voters that the following are not allowed: 1, Take picture of the ballot and VVPAT 2. Scan of QR code in the VVPAT i Check if there are still ballots for feeding such as accomplished ballots for PDL or APP, before performing Close Voting. i. Donot perform Close Voting before 7pm on election day kk. Sign and post the 9 copy of the Election Returns (ER) immediately after printing the first 9 copies 1. After posting the copy of the ER intended as such, insert the modem or the ethernet cable to the ACM for transmission (Par. 9 Election Day, Annex “B", Resolution No. 11098) m. Ensure that transmission to all destinations is successful. If not, perform Re-transmit until all transmission destinations received the transmission package x, Conduct of Ballot Review after printing all copies of ER and all reports is mandatory. This should be performed before the PINAL BACK-UP ©. Perform FINAL BACK-UP only on election day, after all the activities in the ACM are completed. P.
