Flapjack

Ingredients:
100g rolled oats 50g margarine 2tbsp golden syrup 25g brown sugar

Equipment:
saucepan wooden spoon foil tray glass bowl Cooling tray

Oven: 180 C Method:


1. Weigh out the sugar, golden syrup and margarine into the saucepan. Heat until the sugar has dissolved and the margarine has totally melted. 2. Remove from the heat and stir in the oats. Make sure that the oats are properly mixed through. 3. Pour into foil tray and press down firmly. 4. Put into the oven and cook for 15-20 minutes, until it is a golden brown on the top. 5. Remove and let cool slightly in the tin before cutting into squares. Take out carefully and completely cool on a cooling tray.
