I am personally not a fan of the crossover waistband, I find with my body type they roll consistently. These leggings are buttery soft however and they fit a little on the larger side. They do work quite well at wicking away animal hair. I have 2 cats, one long haired and one short, and also a Boxer and an olde English Bulldog. Seemed to fight well against all these different types of pet hair!
