Honest review from couple
The ATV ride is good but you do not go fast and have to stay in a line with everyone else - if you want to do something a bit more free roaming I do not recommend this but if it’s your first time then this is good. The toilets are disgusting so make sure you go before and take your own water (a lot of it) and any other drinks as you have to pay extra for drinks. The camel ride is 2 minutes long, there are 4 camels between a group of 30+ so you are stood around before and after. We asked the man leading the camels to take a picture of us on our phone as everyone else did too. He took the picture then asked for tips and we said we didn’t have any (we had spent it on the drinks which were not included). He then got very angry and turned the camels around very quickly which got them tangled and my leg got trapped in the middle. We shouted ‘STOP’ but he continued to drag us back rapidly to shorten and ruin our experience. We felt very unsafe here. The whole time children are walking around begging for money and manipulate you when you don’t have any. The Bedouin village is not an authentic experience, it was almost as if they were wearing costumes to fit the village narrative as they all had designer clothes on underneath. When we got to the Bedouin tent, children offered us popcorn (again with a charge) but were eating it when no one was looking. We then waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for any sort of entertainment to start which was such a waste of time and we all sat in silence. Shisha is £20 minimum and others said it was crap, and again drinks including water are extra. The food was very good (meat, salad, potatoes, rice, bread and 1 cup of cola). The stargazing after was nice to see but the men at the village kept turning their flashlights on and talking very which did ruin the authenticity of it again.
