Valoo is a supporting character who appears on the top of Dragon Roost Island. In the game's events, he is unable to grant the Rito their ability to grow wings due to being hurt by Gohma and Link must defeat the giant scorpion. Later in the game, Valoo aids Link and Tetra in escaping Ganondorf.

Breath of the Wild
The three Dragons in Breath of the Wild are invincible and appear in various places throughout Hyrule. While not intending to harm Link, their bodies shed orbs of their element which can harm him. They can be harvested for their Horns, Scales, Claws, and Fang Shards for Enhancing Armor. Dinraal has the power of Fire and frequents Tanagar Canyon and northern Eldin. Farosh has the power of Electricity and frequents Gerudo Highlands and Lake Floria. Naydra has the power of Ice and frequents Mount Lanayru and Lanayru Road. Naydra initially appears at the summit of Mount Lanayru infected as Malice Naydra and must be freed from the Malice before she can appear regularly.
The Zonai are thought to have worshiped a water Dragon.[9] Many Dragon Statues decorate Zonai Ruins, which were used by them to represent the Triforce of Courage.[10]
Tears of the Kingdom
In addition to Dinraal, Farosh, and Naydra, two additional immortal Dragons known as the Light Dragon and Demon Dragon can be found. The Light Dragon flies high in the Skies above Hyrule and the Demon Dragon serves as the final Boss. Flame, Frost, and Thunder Gleeoks also appear as Sub-Bosses. A more powerful type of Gleeok known as King Gleeoks have a combination of each elemental head.
A mortal being can become an immortal Dragon by swallowing a Secret Stone.[11] However, this destroys the being's sense of self, and this process is thought to be irreversible.[12]

There are stories about the secret stones and a forbidden act called draconification. "To swallow a secret stone is to become an immortal dragon... "one blessed with eternal life."

Yes. But there is still more to those tales... "To become an immortal dragon is to lose oneself." That is why it is forbidden. I thought maybe this could lead to a solution—some way to transcend time... But if you have to sacrifice your heart and mind... Sacrifice what makes you "you"...

A spirit of lightning has taken the form of this giant dragon. Making its home in the Faron region, it's said to have served the Spring of Courage since ancient times. An old saying goes, "The dragon ascends to the heavens as the sun begins to set," but nobody has seen this in the current age. The electricity that coats its body makes it dangerous to get near, but Farosh bears no ill will toward people.
